COMMISSIONERS' COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION JULY 28th, 1977 at 10:00 o'clock
A. M., with the following officers present:

and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
NO. 13059 ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF ROY McGINNIS & CO., INC. FOR RENOVATION AND RESTORATION OF
THE KERB COUNTY COURTHOUSE AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF CONTRACT
On this the 28th day of July, 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the bid of ROY McGINNIS & CO., INC.,'
in the amount $130,330.00 (base bid), be accepted for the renovation and restoration of the
Kerr County Courthouse, as per recommendation of Lester B. Whitton Associates, Planning Con-
sultant, and that the County Judge of Kerr County, Texas, be authorized to execute a contract
on behalf of Kerr County with ROY McGINNIS & CO., INC.
It is further ordered that the Clerk record the contract in the proper minutes of the
Court.

NO. 13060 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT TO WACO CONSTRUCTION, INC., IN AMOUNT OF $8,721.00 ON
CONSTRUCTION OF ANNEX TO THE KERB COUNTY COURTHOUSE
On this the 28th day of July 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved payment to Waco Construction, Inc.,
in the amount of $8721.00 at this time and that the final payment in the amount of $300.00
to be made upon completion of minor items in the Courthouse Annex, as recommended by A. B.
Swank and Lester B. Whitton, PE.
It is ordered that the Clerk and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher in the amount
of $8721.00, payable out of the Special Reserve Fund, payable to Waco Construction, Inc.,
on construction of the Courthouse Annex.

NO. 13061 ORDER AUTHORIZING NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED USE OF GENERAL REVENUE
.~ SHARING FUNDS TO BE RECEIVED BY KERR COUNTY
On this the 28th day of July 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved an order Authorizing Notice of Public
Hearing for Proposed use of General Revenue Sharing Funds to be Received by Kerr County.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED USE OF GENERAL REVENUE SHARING FUNDS TO BE
RECEIVED BY KERR COUNTY
In compliance with the provisions of Title 31 Code of Federal Regulations, Subtitle
B, Par. 51.13, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County will conduct a public hearing in the
Kerr County Commissioners' Courtroom in the Kerr County Courthouse on August 16th, 1977 at
9:00 a. m. Citizens of Kerr County shall have a right to be present at such hearing and to
present oral and written comments as to the proposed use of General Revenue Sharing Entitle-
ment Funds which are to be included in Kerr County's operating budget for the fiscal and
calendar year 1978, which budget is currently being prepared for public hearing and adoption
by the Kerr County Commissioners' Court at a time more than seven days subsequent to the date
-- of the Proposed Use Hearing to be held on August 16th, 1977.
