On this the 8th day of August 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded --
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved payment to Lester B. Whitton Associates,
Planning Consultants, for professional services on Restoration and Remodeling of Existing
Courthouse, in the amount of $1,583.15.
It is ordered that the Clerk and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher in the amount
of $1583.15, out of the Courthouse Renovation Fund, payable to Lester B. Whitton, Associates.

THE NATIONAL FLOOD INSURANCE PROGRAD4, PROVIDING FOR ENTRY INTO PROGRAM, ADMINISTRA-
TION, ENACTMENT, AND ENFORCEMENT OF REGULATIONS, AND OTHER PROVISIONS RELATED
TO THE SUBJECT

WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County is the governing body of Kerr County,
Texas;
WHEREAS, the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County took action to qualify for the National '-^
Flood Insurance Program under Section 9, Flood Control and Insurance Act (Article 8280-13,
Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes) after June 30, 1970, and before July 22, 1977;
WfiEREAS, House Bi11 No. 11 of the 65th Legislature, First Called Session, requires
that actions and proceedings taken by political subdivisions which took action to qualify
with respect to participation in and compliance with the National Flood Control and Insurance
Act under Section 9 of the Flood Control Insurance Act after June 30, 1970, and before July
22, 1977 be reenacted by the governing body of the political subdivision after July 22, 1977
and before the 60th day after July 22, 1977, or such proceedings and actions shall expire on r
the 60th day after July 22, 1977;
WHEREAS, it is the intent of this Court to continue to participate in and comply with
the National Flood Insurance Program under the Flood Control and Insurance Act;
WIiEREAS, a copy of all actions and proceedings heretofore taken by this Court with
respect to participation in and compliance with the National Flood Insurance Program under

the Flood Control and Insurance Act are attached hereto, and are by reference incorporated
in and made a part of this order;
NOW THEREFORE, on this 8th day of August, 1977, in a meeting of the Commissioners'
Court of Kerr County, Texas, duly convened and acting in its capacity as governing body of
Kerr County, the following members being present; Earl Garrett, Clinton M. Sallee, Victor
Lich, and Roger Stone, Commissioners; and County Judge Julius R. Neunhoffer;
On motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Stone, and duly passed, it
is ORDERED by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, that the actions and proceed-
ings heretofore taken by this Court with respect to participation in and compliance with the
National Flood Insurance Program under the Flood Contol and Insurance Act, any with specific
reverence to the documents and instruments attached and appended hereto, are hereby in all
things and all respects ratified, confirmed, approved, validated and reenacted
(Attachments - Order No. 12278 and 12279, dtd. 12-9-74 recorded in Vol. N, Pgs. 563 - 566.

Fees be increased to $10.00, on all civil cases filed on the County and District Court Dockets,
on and after September 1, 1977, except Suits for Delinquent Taxes, including cases on the
O~unty Court Probate Docket, other than those arising under the Mental Health Code and Alcohol-
ism Commitment Proceedings.

NO. 13075 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF DORIS LEE SMITH, TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR, FOR
APPOINTMENT OF BOBBIE NELL LEEDY AS DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR OF
KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 8th day of August 1977, came on to be considered by the Court, the applica-
tion of Doris Lee Smith, Tax Assessor-Collector, for authority to appoint and deputize Bobbie
Nell Leedy, as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, and it appearing to the Court that said applica-
tion should be approved, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commis-
sioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize
Bobbie Nell Leedy, as a Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector and that she be paid a salary of $6820.00
per annum, effective the date of her qualification, the same being August 8, 1977, payable
out of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.

NO. 13076 TERMINATION OF ALLOWANCE TO COURTHOUSE CUSTODIAN FOR PRISONER CARE
On this the 8th day of August 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that the allowance paid to the Court-
house Custodian for assisting the Sheriff's Department for prisoner care be terminated,
effective August 1, 1977, due to termination of need of services.

On this the 8th day of August 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded

are hereby authorized to apportion the sum of $15,000.00 from the F. M. & Lateral Road
Fund to the four Road and Bridge Precincts, as follows:
