~`'1~ Motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13096 ORDER ESTABLISHING BASIS FOR AND CLERICAL PROCEDURES TO BE EMPLOYED IN VALUATION OF REAL ESTATE AND IMPROVEMENTS, LIVESTOCK, AUTOMOBILES AND ALL OTHER TAXABLE PROPERTY FOR THE YEAR 1978 On this the 12th day of September, 1977 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of classifying lands in Kerr County for tax purposes and establishing the basis for valuations to be employed by the Tax Assessor of Kerr County, Texas, as well as clerical procedures to be employed in taking renditions for 1978 ad valorem taxes; and it appearing to the Court that certain guidelines should be established to furnish the basis for such valua- tions as well as clerical procedures to be employed, it is therefore ordered and the Tax Assessor of Kerr County is hereby instructed to list the full market value of all properties rendered for 1978 with the ratio of valuations to be employed to be determined subsequently; And it is further ordered that those properties for which exemption from ad valorem taxes are claimed pursuant to provisions of Article 7150, Revised Civil Statutes, or other applicable laws shall be separately listed by the owners thereof, together with the basis for claiming exemption from taxation, provided that this requirement shall not extend to the ,', ~y, ~~ properties owned by the United States of America, the State of Texas or any of its political ,~ subdivisions or to any school district. On motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the foregoing order was unanimously approved, this the 12th day of September, 1977. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13097 ORDER CONSOLIDATING CERTAIN KERB COUNTY ELECTION PRECINCTS FOR CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT ELECTION TO BE HELD NOVEMBER 8th, 1977 On this the 12 day of Sept. 1977, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of consolidating certain election precincts of Kerr County for the purpose of conducting a Constitutional Amendment Election ordered by the Governor of the State of Texas to be held on November 8, 1977; and it appearing to the Court that Section 2.02 (g) of the Texas Election Code authorizes the combination of any two or more Kerr County election precincts into consolida- tion precincts for the purpose of conducting the aforesaid election; and it further appearing to the Court that the costs of conducting this election would be materially reduced by certain consolidations, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Garrett and unanimously approved by the Court that for the purpose of conducting the Constitutional Amendment election called for November 8, 1977 the following consolidations of Kerr County's 19 regular election precincts shall be as follows: 1. Election precincts 1 and 7 are consolidated into a single precinct with the Kerr County Courthouse being designated as the polling place; 2. Election precincts 2 and 8 are consolidated into a single precinct with the Center Point American Legion Hall being designated as the polling place; 3. Election precincts 4, 9 and 10 are consolidated with the Sunset Baptist Church being designated as the polling place; 4. Election precincts 11 and 15 are consolidated into a single precinct with the Tom Daniels Elementary School being designated as the polling place. 5. Election precincts 13 and 16 are consolidated, with the Starkey School being designat- ed as the polling place; 6. Election precincts 14 and 17 are consolidated, with the Scott Schreiner Municipal
