NO. 13121 ORDER ACCEPTING RESIGNATION OF MILTON L. ROGERS AS CIVIL DEFENSE DIRECTOR OF KERR
COUNTY AND APPOINTING CURTIS MEADE, JR. AS CIVIL DEFENSE DIRECTOR OF KERR COUNTY
On this the 10th day of October, 1977, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the resignation of T4ilton L. Rogers as Kerr County Civil Defense Director; and it appearing
to the Court that Milton L. Rogers has served with sincere dedication in the aforesaid
capacity since his appointment on February 14, 1969 and that the contributions that he has
made towards strengthening the joint Civil Defense Operations Plan for the City of Kerrville
and Kerr County have been invaluable, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Garrett, second-
ed by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court that, subject to concurrence
by the Mayor of the City of Kerrville, the aforesaid resignation of Milton L. Rogers be
accepted with regrets, the said resignation to be effective upon the appointment and qualifica-
.. ~ tion of his successor;
I~. And it is further ordered that Curtis Meade, Jr. be appointed Civil Defense Director
for Kerr County, subject to concurrence by the Mayor of the City of Kerrville; and, that upon
his qualification as such by filing his oath of office with the County Judge of Kerr County,
he shall be vested with full powers to appoint assistants.

NO. 13122 APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT WITH BOVAY ENGINEERS, INC. FOR AIRPORT LAND ACQUISITION
On this the 10th day of October 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that Kerr County join the City of
Kerrville in an agreement with Bovay Engineers, Inc, for Airport Land Acquisition.

NO. 13123 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF ONE HALF OF AIRPORT ENGINEERIIQG COSTS TO CITY OF KERRVILLE
On this the 10th day of October 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that Kerr County reimburse the City
of Kerrville in the amount of $10,998.85 for the County's one-half of costs for professional
services by Bovay Engineers, for Airport improvements and that the Clerk and Treasurer be
authorized to draw a voucher in the above amount, payable to the City of Kerrville, payable
out of the General Fund.

NO. 13124 APPROVAL OF REPEAT OF LOTS 1 THRU 7, lOT3RU 15 AND 24 THRU 28,
ADDITION, INGRAM
On this the 10th day of October 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Replat of Lots 1 thru 7, 10 thru
15 and 24 thru 23, Hummingbird Addition, Ingram, provided in so doing Kerr County does not
accept as County Roadways the road easements dedicated for public use and further, that Kerr
County does not assume responsibility for repair, maintenance, construction or reconstruction
of roadways so dedicated.
