On this the 10th day of October 1977, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit and for the amounts and period of
time as listed below:
FUND AMOUNT PERIOD OF TIME
Jury Fund $ 8,000.00 To mature Feb. 13, 1978
General Fund $300,000.00 To mature Feb. 13, 1978
F. M. & Lateral Road Fund $120,000.00 To mature Feb. 13, 1978
Flood Control Maintenance Fund $ 42,000.00 To mature in 90 days
and that these funds should be invested as soon as possible, in Interest Bearing Certificates
of Deposits, pending possible need of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion
made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved
the above mentioned investments in Interest Searing Certificates of Deposits, with the Chas.

Schreiner Bank, which investments shall be for the amounts and period of time as shown above.
.... And it is further ordered that the Clerk and Treasurer be authorized to draw proper
vouchers on the funds aforementioned and in the amounts above set forth to effect the afore-

NO. 13134 EMPLOYMENT OF ANN WALLACE A5 SECRETARY TO COUIQTY AGENTS OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 10th day of October 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that Ann Wallace be employed as Secretary
to the County Agents of Kerr County, Texas, at a salary of $5,810.00 per annum, effective
October 11, 1977 and that her salary be paid out of the General Fund.

NO. 13135 APPROVAL OF CERTIFICATE OF CORRECTION ON DELINQUENT TAX ROLL
On this the 10th day of October 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded

NO. 13136 APPORTIONMENT OF $15,000.00 FROM F. M. & LATERAL ROAD FUND
On this the 10th day of October 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that the Clerk and Treasurer, be and
are hereby authorized to apportion the sum of $15,000.00 from the F. M. & Lateral Road Fund
to the four Road and Bridge Precincts, as follows:
Road and Bridge #1 - $4,500.00
Road and Bridge #2 - $3,000.00
Road and Bridge #3 - $3,000.00
Road and Bridge #4 - $4,500.00

are hereby authorized to transfer the sum of $20,000.00 from the General Fund to the Officers
Salary Fund.

ment of A. J. Brough to the Joint Airport Board, to fill the vacancy created by the resigna-
tion of Vernon L. Hatch.

NO. 13142 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF PAUL FIELDS, SHERIFF, FOR APPOINTMENT OF STEVE TAYLOR,
AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 21st day of October 1977, came on to be considered by the Court, the applica-
tion of Paul Fields, Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, for authority to appoint and deputize
Steve Taylor, as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, and it appearing to the Court that
said application should be approved, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee,
seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authoriz-
ed to deputize Steve Taylor, as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, effective November 1,
1977, and that his salary be set at $9000.00 per annum, effective the date of his qualifica-
tion, payable out of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.
