Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effective December 11, 1977.

NO. 13174 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF PAUL FIELDS, SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS,
FOR APPOINTMENT OF RAY HOLLIMAN AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 12th day of December 1977, came on to be considered by the Court, the applica-
tion of Paul Fields, Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, for authority to appoint and deputize
Ray Holliman as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, and it appearing to the Court that said
application should be approved, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to
deputize Ray Holliman as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, at a salary of $9000.00 per
annum, payable out of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund, effective the date of his qualification,
the same being December 12, 1977.

tion of Emmie M. Muenker, County Clerk, Kerr County, Texas, for authority to appoint and
deputize Mari Ann McDaniel as Deputy County Clerk and Irma Guerrero as Deputy County Clerk,
and it appearing to the Court that said application should be approved, therefore, upon
motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approv-
ed that said officer be authorized to deputize Mari Ann McDaniel as Deputy County Clerk, at
a salary of $5,760.00 per annum and Irma Guerrero as Deputy County Clerk, at a salary of

as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, be ratified and confirmed, effective December 12th, 1977.

NO. 13178 ORDER NO. 13178 - KERB COUNTY COMDIISSIONERS' COURT
ORDER TO ENDORSE AND SUPPORT THE APPLICATION OF THE KERR COUNTY PROJECT, TITLED KERR COUNTY
JUVENILE PROBATION DEPARTMENT, PROPOSED TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE TEXAS CRIMINAL JUSTICE DIVISION
FOR A GRATdT AMOUNT OF 6,421.00, TO ESTABLISH A KERR COUNTY JUVENILE PROBATION DEPARTMETT IN
ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR A FULL TIME JUVENILE PROBATION DEPARTMENT.
WHEREAS, the Kerr County Commissioners' Court has reviewed and approved this project and
agreed that the project is consistent with the wishes of Kerr County and its current and long
range correctional needs;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED on notion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner
Garrett, and unanimously approved that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County endorses and
supports the application, titled KERB COUNTY JUVENILE DEPARTMENT, and authorizes the Kerr
County Judge to submit the same to the Texas Criminal Justice Division and urges its approval
by the Texas Criminal Justice Division of the Governor's Office; and it is further ordered
that Kerr County, acting by and through its Commissioners' Court, does hereby agree to make
the in-kind contributions to the project as set out in the said project application. It is
further noted that it is the present intention of this County to continue said project, if it
is deemed successful, upon the termination of funding from the Criminal Justice Division.
Duly passed at a meeting of the Kerr County Commissioners` Court on the 12th day of
December, 1977.

On this the 12th day of December 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the final payment to Ydaco Construction,
Inc. in the amount of $300.00, as recommended by Lester B. LThitton, P.E. and A. B. Swank,
F.A.I.A., for completion of requirements under their Contract for Kerr County Courthouse
Annex, and that the Auditor and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher out of the Special
Reserve Fund in the above amount, payable to Waco Construction, Inc.

NO. 3 FOR RESTORATION AIQD REMODELING OF KERR COUNTY COURTHOUSE
On this the 12th day of December 1977, came on to be examined by the Court, the Con-
tractor's request for Payment No. 3 of the Construction Contract for the restoration and
remodeling of the Kerr County Courthouse.
Said request for payment having been examined by Lester B. Whitton Associates and recommended
to the Court that payment be made to Roy McGinnis and Company, Inc., in the amount of
$34,421.78.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the
