Neunhoffer voting "AYE" and Commissioners Garrett and Stone abstaining from voting, said motion carrying by a majority vote, that the proposed salary increases for certain elected County and Precinct officials of Kerr County, Texas, as advertised, be granted, effective January 1, 1978. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13194 ORDER TERMIIQATING PRIOR AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF KERRVILLE FOR PARTIAL REIMBURSEMENT FOR SALARY OF PUBLIC b4EIGHER OF JUSTICE PRECINCT NO. 1 On this the 29th day of December 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that the prior participation by the City of Kerrville and the salary of the Public L9eigher of Justice Precinct No. 1 of Kerr County be discontinued, effective January 1, 1978, with all costs of operation of scales to be paid wholly by Kerr County. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13195 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS On this the 29th day of December 1977, came on to be examined by the Court, the various claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners' Precincts since the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor and Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road and Bridge No. 1, Road & Bridge No. 4, Jury, General and Officers Salary Fund, and County Law Library Fund, as shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed, pages 2088 and 2089, which were made a part hereof and of this order. Motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Sallee and unanimously approved by the Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13196 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF WOOD TRAILS RANCH On this the 29th day of December 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Wood Trails Ranch, pro- vided in so doing that Kerr County does not assume responsibility for repair, maintenance, construction or reconstruction of roadways so dedicated and that I:err County does not accept as County Roadways the road easements dedicated for public use, other than the existing Holloman Road, until roads are constructed according to specifications of the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. 4. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13197 RESIGNATION OF JAMES B. Tucker, as Ingram nightwatchman, be ratified and confirmed, effective December 31, 1977. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13198 PAYMENT TO LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY FOR UTILITY ADJUSTMENTS On this the 29th day of December 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that payment be made to Lower Colorado River Authority in the amount of $3,236.96, payable out of Highway 16 Right of Way Fund for utility adjustments along the south side of Highway 16 from Guadalupe River Bridge to F. M. Road 689. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13199 ORDER APPROVING INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR TEXAS ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION GROUP ACCOUNT FUND, AUTHORIZING QUARTERLY DEPOSITS INTO AND DESIGNAT- ING KERR COUNTY'S UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION COORDINATOR FOR SAID PLAN On this the 29th day of December, 1977, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of approving Kerr County's Interlocal Agreement for participation in the Texas Association of Counties ?7nemployment Compensation Group Fund Account, which approval is required to implement Kerr County's previous decision to participate in the said system of Unemployment Insurance effective January 1, 1978; and it appearing to the Court that it is in the best interest of Kerr County to participate therein for the purpose of providing mandatory unemployment compensation for County employees, it is ordered on motion by Commis- sioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County enter into the aforesaid agreement, and that the County Judge be authorized to execute the same on behalf of Kerr County; and it is further ordered that vouchers be drawn on the General Fund of Kerr County on a quarterly basis prior to the 10th day of the first month of each calendar quarter commencing January, 1978 in such amount as is required to meet Kerr County's quarterly deposit requirements; and it is further ordered that the County Auditor of Kerr County is hereby appointed Unemployment Compensation Coordinator for Kerr County for the purpose of discharging all duties incident to the local administration of the said program. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13200 MINUTES READ AND APPROVED On this the 29th day of December 1977, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, second- ed by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the Minutes of Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, from pages 292 thru 298, Volume 0. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o COURT ADJOURNED DECEMBER 29, 1977 at 11:20 o'clock A.
