Gentlemen:
I respectfully request that you give consideration
to the matter of merit raises for the following two
employees: Doris Isenberg, from the amount of $6960.~0.Q ~'~,~
per annum to $7260.00 per annum and Harriet Dixon',^fgom '~~~ ,~ ~~'
the amount of $7800.00 per annum to $8400.00 per annum. ~' ~~//
Mrs. Isenberg has assumed responsibility for the ad val-
orem tax division of this office and her workload and
responsibility are such that I believe her to be deserving
of such an increase.
At the time that Mrs. Dixon became Chief Deputy, I did
not consider her experience was such that I could request
a salary commensurate with the duties and responsibilities
of that position. However, after serving as Chief Deputy
for over a year, I now consider that her increased exper-
ience and assumption of more responsibilities of this
office merit an increase in salary.
