Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously approved by the Court
that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, acting in its capacity as Advisory Trustee of
the Charles Schreiner Road Fund, hereby recommends that the Chas. Schreiner Bank of Kerrville,
Texas, Trustee of the said Charles Schreiner Road Fund, expend those funds now under its
control which constitute the earnings of the said trust fund for the year 1977 for the purpose
of aiding the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County in the procurement of right of way for
the construction of the portion of State Loop 534 as aforesaid;
And it is further recommended that the said Chas. Schreiner Bank make payment of such
accrued funds to the Kerr County Treasurer for deposit in the Loop 534 right of way fund
within the Kerr County Treasury Account, at such time as funds become available for disburse-
ment.

On this the 9th day of January 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the establishment of Loop 534 Right-of-
Way Fund on the books of the County Treasurer.

NO. 13212 ORDER APPROVING REQUEST OF CONTRACTOR, ROY McGINNIS AND COMPANY, INC., FOR PAYMENT
NO. 4 FOR RESTORATION AND REMODELING OF KERB COUNTY COURTHOUSE
On this the 9th day of January 1978, came on to be examined by the Court, the Contractor's
Request for Payment No. 4 of the Construction Contract for the restoration and remodeling of
the Kerr County Courthouse.
Said request for payment having been examined by Lester B. Vdhitton Associates and re-
commended to the Court that payment be made to Roy McGinnis and Company, Inc., in the amount
of $16,396.31.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the
Court unanimously approved the Contractor's Request for Payment No. 4 of the Construction
Contract and a voucher be drawn in the amount of $16,396.31, payable to Roy McGinnis and
Company, Inc., out of the Permanent Improvement Fund.

N0.13213 ORDER APPROVING REQUEST OF CONTRACTOR, C. A. LOGEMAN, INC., FOR PAYMENT NO. 9 FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF KERR COUNTY CORRECTION-DETENTION FACILITY
On this the 9th day of January 1978, came on to be examined by the Court, the Contractor's
request for Payment No. 9 of the Construction Contract for the Kerr County Correction-De-
tention Facility, and that payment be made at such time and the amount as approved by Lester
B. Whitton, P. E. and A. B. Swank, F.A.I.A. and recommended to the Court.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the
Court unanimously approved the Contractor's Request for Payment No. 9 of the Contract and
the Auditor & Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw a voucher in the amount as approved by
Lester B. Whitton, P. E. and A. B. Swank, F.A.I.A., payable to C. A. Logeman, Inc., out of
the Kerr County Jail Construction Fund.

NO. 13214 CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN KERR COUNTY AND UPPER GUADALUPE RIVER AUTHORITY
APPROVED
On this the 9th day of January 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the Contractual Agreement between Kerr
County and the Upper Guadalupe River Authority for the issuance of Building Permits in the

Flood Plain Areas of Kerr County, outside of the corporate limits of the City of Kerrville, _
and it is further ordered that	vouchers be drawn on the General	Fund of Kerr County semi-	
annually as payments under the	terms of the Contract become due,	beginning 3anuary 15, 1978	~,
in the amount of $2500.00, and	a like payment to be made on the	15th day of each July and	
January during the time this agreement shall remain in effect.	(Contract to be filed, but	
not recorded).

NO. 13215 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF DEERFIELD SUBDIVISION
On this the 9th day of January 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Deerfield Subdivision,
subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of roadways will not be assumed by Kerr
County until residential development shall justify said maintenance and until roads are con-
structed to specifications of the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. One.

NO. 13216 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF MONTEBELLO ESTATES, SECTION TWO
On this the 9th day of January 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Montebello Estates, Section
Two, subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of roadways will not be assumed by
Kerr County until residential development shall justify said maintenance and until roads are
constructed to specifications of the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. One.

NO. 13218 RESIGNATION OF ANN STAPP AS DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 9th day of January 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Ann Stapp, as
Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effective as
of December 31, 1977.

NO. 13219 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF DORIS LEE SMITH, TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR OF KERR COUNTY,
TEXAS, FOR APPOINTMENT OF SARAH E. WHEAT AS DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR AND DORIS
ISENBERG, AS DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 9th day of January 1978, came on to be considered by the Court, the applica-
tion of Doris Lee Smith, Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, Texas, for authority to
appoint and deputize Sarah E. Wheat as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector and Doris Isenberg, as
Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, and it appearing to the Court that said application should be
approved, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Garrett,
the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Sarah E. Wheat
as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, at a salary of $6000.00 per annum and Doris Isenberg, as
Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector, at a salary of $6960.00 per annum, effective the dates of
their qualification, the same being January 9th, 1978, and that their salaries be paid out of
Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.
