COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION JANUARY 16, 1978 at 10:20 o'clock A. M., with
the following officers present:

and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
NO. 13230 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT TO A. B. SWANK, FAIR AND LESTER B. WHITTON, PE, FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ON KERR COUNTY CORRECTION/DETENTION FACILITY
On this the 16th day of January 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved payment to A. B. Swank, FA IA and
Lester B. Whitton, PE, for Professional Services on the Kerr County Correction/Detention
Facility in the amount of $7,927.00.
It is ordered that a voucher be drawn in the amount of $7,927.00, out of the Kerr County
Jail Construction Fund, payable to A. B. Swank, FAIR and Lester B. Whitton, PE.

On this the 27th day of January 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the claim of Tax Assessor-Collector,
Doris Lee Smith, for postage, for mailing out the balance of State and County Inventories,
and that a voucher be drawn out of the Officers Salary Fund, in the amount of $200.00, payable
to Doris Lee Smith, Tax Assessor-Collector.

On this the 10th day of February 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, second-
ed by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of John R.
Alexander, as Chief Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, with
regret, effective February 6th, 1978, due to reasons of health.
