Upon recommendation of Lester B. Whitton, Planning Consultant, it is ordered that a
partial payment be made in the amount of $10,000.00, payable to Paul Anderson Company out of
the General Fund and that the remaining $933.77 be paid upon installation of the three
drawers.

FOR CONSTRUCTION OF KERB COUNTY CORRECTION-DETENTION FACILITY
On this the 13th day of February 1978, came on to be examined by the Court, the Con-
tractor's request for Payment No. 10 of the Construction Contract for the Kerr County
Correction/Detention Facility.
Said request for payment having been examined by Lester B. Whitton, P. E. and A. B.
Swank, F.A.I.A. and recommended to the Court that payment be made to C. A. Logeman, Inc.,
in the amount of $27,937.00.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the
Court unanimously approved the Contractor's Request for Payment No. 10 of the Construction
Contract and the Auditor & Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw a voucher in the amount
of $27,937.00, payable to C. A. Logeman, Inc., out of the I:err County Jail Construction Fund.

L. Brantley, Sr., as Presiding Election Judge of Election Precinct No. 10, be confirmed,
effective as of February 3, 1978.

NO. 13246 ORDER AUTHORIZING PAYPQENT OF UNCLAIMED FUNDS HELD IN THE ACCOUNTS OF FORMER COUNTY
OFFICIALS INTO THE GENERAL FUND OF KERR COUNTY
On this the 13th day of February, 1978 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of authorizing the payment of unclaimed funds held in the official bank accounts
of certain former County officials of Kerr County; and it appearing to the Court that no
claims have been made against the said funds for a reasonable period of time; and the said
unclaimed funds were primarily generated by checks issued against the said funds by the
individual officials concerned during the periods of their respective tenures of office,
which checks have remained unnegotiated over a considerable period of time; it is ordered
on motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Garrett and unanimously approved by
the Court that the payment of unclaimed funds in the official accounts of Ed Honea, former
District Clerk; Juanita Reeves Maples, former County Tax Assessor-Collector; and Charles J.
Rees, former Justice of the Peace of Precinct No. 2 of Kerr County, be paid into the General
Fund of Kerr County subject to the right of reimbursement by Kerr County to the lawful claim-
ant of any portion thereof upon presentation of a proper claim to the Commissioners' Court of
Kerr County; and it is further ordered that the said Ed Honea be authorized to pay the un-
claimed balance in his account No. 002-755 in the amount of $93.80 to the County Treasurer of
Kerr County, that the said Juanita Reeves Maples be authorized to pay the unclaimed balance
in her account No. 003-328 in the amount of $96.13 to the County Treasurer of Kerr County;

On this the 13th day of February 1978, upon motion made by Conunissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, with Commissioners Stone and Sallee and County Judge Neunhof-L-er
voting "AYE" and Commissioners Garrett and Lich voting "NO", said motion carrying by a
majority vote that T. S. Clements be granted use of the Agriculture Exhibition Building on
November 9, 10, 11 and 12, 1978 for a cattle sale, at a charge of $100.00 per day, plus clean-
up, and if clean-up is not satisfactorily performed by user, an additional $150.00 is to be
charged.

BELINDA G. SARKIS, AS DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR OF F:ERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the .lath day of February 1978, came on to be considered by the Court, the
application of Doris Lee Smith, Tax Assessor-Collector of Y.err County, Texas, for authority
to appoint and deputize Belinda G. Sarkis, as Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County,
Texas, and it appearing to the Court that said application should be approved, ±herefore,
upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Conunissioner Garrett, the Court unani-
mously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Belinda G. Sarkis, as Deputy
Tax Assessor-Collector, and that her salary be fixed at $6240.00 per annum, effective the
date of her qualification, the same being February 14, 1978, and that her salary be paid out
of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.

COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 13th day of February 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved the request of Paul Fields, Sheriff,
for the appointment of L. H. Purvis as Acting Chief Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas,
and that his expense allowance be increased from $2400.00 per annum to $3600.00 per annum,
effective February 1, 1978.
