NO. 13253 APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 5 OF CONTRACT FOR RESTORATION AND REMODELING OF
KERR COUNTY COURTHOUSE
On this the 13th day of February 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved Change Order No. 5 of the Contract,
between Roy McGinnis and Company, Inc, and Kerr County, for the restoration and remodeling
of the Kerr County Courthouse.

Item 1: Delete plumbing (removal of plumbing fixtures and capping of pipes) on third floor.
Delete relocation of water heater from third floor to basement.
Item 2: Furnish and install dead bolts in Sheriff's Offices.
Item 3: Furnish two boxes of terrazzo the and mastic for replacement purposes.
Item 4: Install miscellaneous electrical items as follows:
1) Relocate switch in janitor's closet.
2) Add receptacle in Room 212.
3) Add receptacle in Room 211.
4) Furnish and install light fixture in Room 204.
5) Add receptacle in Room 201.
6) Add two telephone outlets in Room 202.
Item 5: It is understood and agreed that this change order will increase the contract amount
by $137.53.

On this the 13th day of February 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the work performed by Roy McGinnis
and Company, Inc., pursuant to contract dated July 28, 1977, recorded in Volume O, Pages 254-256,
and subsequent Change Orders, be accepted, subject to recommendation of Lester B. Whitton
Associates, and that payment be made in the amount of $25,629.37, payable as follows:
$19,000.00 out of Permanent Improvement Fund
and
$ 6,629.37 out of the General Fund
and that the balance of $500.00 due on the Contract with Roy McGinnis and Company, be paid upon
completion and approval of minor corrections.

Kerr County Correction/Detention Facility, subject to final approval of C. A. Logeman, Inc.,

NO. 13256 TRANSFER OF $20,000.00 from GENERAL FUND TO OFFICERS SALARY FUND
On this the 13th day of February 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the Clerk and Treasurer be authoriz-
ed and are hereby directed to transfer the sum of $20,000.00 from the General Fund to the
Officers Salary Fund.

NO. 13259 APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT OF PREVIOUS AGREEMENT BETWEEN D & L MAINTENANCE AND KERR
COUNTY
On this the 13th day of February 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved an Amendment of a Previous Agreement
between D & L Maintenance and Kerr County, increasing the monthly payment from $1257.00 per
month to $1437.00 per month, effective February 1, 1978.

NO. 13260 APPROVAL OF COUNTY TREASURER'S REPORT FOR PERIOD ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1977
On this the 13th day of February 1978, in Regular Session of Commissioners' Court, came
on for examination the - - - - - Report of Mrs. E. M. McDonald, County Treasurer of Kerr
County, for the period beginning on the 1st day of November and ending on the 31st day of
December 1977, and the same having been examined and compared by the Court and found correcct.
And it appearing to the Court that during the said time the Treasurer has received for
account and credit and paid out of each of said funds as reflected in the report and become
a part thereof; and that said accounts received and paid out of the respective funds, since
the filing of the preceding report and during the period above stated, are found correct as
therein shown.
