the above mentioned investments in Interest Bearing Certificates of Deposits, with the Chas.
Schreiner Bank, which investments shall be for the amounts and period of time as shown above.
And it is further ordered that proper vouchers be drawn on the funds aforementioned and in
the amounts above set forth to effect the aforesaid investments with the Chas. Schreiner
Bank.

NO. 13276 SALARY ADJUSTMENT OF L. H. PURVIS, ACTING CHIEF DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY,
TEXAS
On this the 13th day of March 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that effective March 1, 1978, the
salary of L. H. Purvis, Acting Chief Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, be fixed at
$3960.00 per annum and that his expense allowance be fixed at $2640.00 per annum.

TRUCKS FOR USE OF COMMISSIONERS' PRECINCTS NOS. 1 and 3
On this the 13th day of March 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Garrett, the Court - - - - accepted the bid of Ken Stoepel Ford, Lincoln,
Mercury, for two 1978 two ton dump trucks, as per specifications on file in the office of
the County Clerk, in the amount of $10,859.00 for each unit, with no trade-in. (Total for
both units $21,718.00). Commissioner Garrett, Sallee, Lich and Stone voting "AYE" and County
Judge, Julius R. Neunhoffer not participating.
