Nogues, to act on behalf of Kerr County and the State of Texas in the matter of intervening and filing claims in the. ._-. 198th Judicial District Court of Kerr County, pursuant to Article 7345B, Texas Civil Statutes, the said Cause being a delinquent tax suit, listed as follows: Cause tdumber - 2296 - 198th District Court All Defendants in same are: Johnnie L. Benson, Dorothy M. Benson, E. E. Sample, Community Savings & Loan Association. It appearing to the Court that the Kerr County Tax Collector has been heretofore served with Citation in said Cause on behalf of Kerr County and the State of Texas and that inter- vention and filing of a claim in this cause is required to preserve the claims of Kerr County and the State of Texas arising from delinquent taxes due them and constituting a lien on the property, which is subject to said delinquent tax suit, it is ordered on motion by Commis- sinner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously approved by the Court that County Attorney, James C. Nogues, be authorized and directed to proceed to file an interven- tion in the said Cause as above set forth and otherwise proceed according to law in this matter. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o IdO. 13316 ORDER APPROVING REFUND OF $7,917.27 TO DORIS LEE SMITH, TAX ASSESSOR°^COLLECTOR OF KERB COUNTY, TEXAS FOR REIMBURSEMENT FOR OVERPAYA4ENT RECEIVED FROM KERR COUNTY'S SHARE OF MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSE SALES On this the 8th day of May 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that Doris Lee Smith, Tax Assessor- Collector of Kerr County, Texas, be reimbursed in the amount of $7,917.27, for overpayment received by Kerr County from proceeds of Kerr County's share of Motor Vehicle License Sales, previously deposited in the Kerr County Road and Bridge Fund. It is ordered that the Auditor and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the Road and Bridge Fund in the amount of $7,917.27, payable to Doris Lee Smith, Tax Assessor- Collector of Kerr County, Texas. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13317 RESIGNATION OF STEPHEN A. TAYLOR, DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS On this the 8th day of May 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Stephen A. Taylor, Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, with regret, effective P4ay 8th, 1978 and that he be granted one week's vacation with pay. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13318 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF PAUL FIELDS, SHERIFF, FOR APPOINTMENT OF ARTHUR V. SCHMIDT AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS On this the 8th day of May 1978, came on to be considered by the Court, the application of Paul Fields, Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, for authority to appoint and deputize Arthur V. Schmidt as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, and it appearing to the Court that said application should be approved, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Arthur V. Schmidt as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas and that his salary be fixed at $9600.00 per annum, effective the date of his qualification, the same being May 3th, 1978, payable out of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o
