Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that Kenneth J. Wood be appointed Presiding
Judge of the Absentee Canvassing Board, to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of
Guy L. Smith.

NO. 13320 APPROVAL OF PAYMENT TO A. B. SWANK, FAIA AND LESTER B. WHITTON, P.E. FOR
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES ON CORRECTION/DETENTION FACILITY
On this the 3th day of May 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved payment to A. B. Swank, FAIA and Lester
B. Whitton, PE, for professional services on the Kerr County Correction/Detention Facility
in the amount of $9,305.00, payable out of the Kerr County Jail Construction Fund.
It is ordered that the Auditor and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher in the
above amount, payable to A. B. Swank, FAIA and Lester B. Whitton, P. E.

NO. 13321 APPORTIONMENT OF $15,000.00 FROM GENERAL ROAD AND BRIDGE FUND
On this the 8th day of May 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by
Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that the Clerk and Treasurer be, and
are hereby authorized to apportion the sum of $15,000.00 from the General Road and Bridge
Fund to the four Road and Bridge Precincts, as follows:

I1O. 13323 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF JAPONICA HILLS
On this the 8th day of May 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Japonica Hills, provided in
so doing, Kerr County does not accept as County Roadways the road easements dedicated for
public use, and further, that Kerr County does not assume responsibility for repair, mainten-
ance, construction or reconstruction of roadways so dedicated.

On this the 8th day of May 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by
Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Timber Ridge Estates, subject
to provisions that all trees be removed from 50 ft. right of way, and that actual maintenance
