TRAPPING PROCLAMATION 1978-79 On this the 12th day of May, 1978, came on to be heard by the Commissioners' Court of I:err County, sitting at its regular May, 1978 term and at its first regular meeting occurring more than 5 days subsequent to the 25th day of April, 1978, the matter of approval and/or ' disapproval of the provisions of Statewide Hunting, Fishing and Trapping Proclamation 1978-79 as adopted by the Parks and Wildlife Commission of the State of Texas on April 25, 1978, and after due consideration by the Court, it is ordered that those portions of said Proclamation not hereinafter disapproved by specific reference or by indirect reference are deemed to be approved and that the following portions, provisions and sections of said Statewide Proclama- ~,//,~ tion for 1978-79 are hereby disapproved: Section .205 "Definitions", Paragraph (c) which defines a "buck deer". In disapproving the foregoing, it is the express intention of the Court to disapprove all portions of the aforesaid Statewide Proclamation for 1978-79 which would in any manner or by inference permit the lawful taking in Kerr County of buck deer not having at least one forked antler protruding through the skin, and it is the further intention of the Court that as a result of its action of disapproval of the foregoing section of said Statewide Proclamation for 1978-79 a buck deer shall be defined in the same manner as defined for Kerr County in Statewide Hunting, Fishing and Trapping Proclamation 1977-78 in Section .007, Paragraph 3, which provision and definition shall remain in force and effect in Kerr County for the 1978- 79 season pursuant to the provisions of House Bill No. 1893, Chapter 620, Acts of the 64th Legislature Regular Session, which statutory authority is also the basis for the action taken herein. On motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the foregoing order is hereby approved by a unanimous vote of the Court, this the 12th day of May, 1978. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13330 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF NORTH RIDGE SUBDIVISION On this the 12th day of May 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of North Ridge Subdivision. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13331 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS On this the 12th day of May 1978, came on to be examined by the Court the various claims j and accounts against Kerr County since the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor and Treasurer, in amounts and out of General, Officers Salary and County Law Library Funds, as shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed, from page 42 ------- which were made a part hereof and of this order. FOR PAYMEIQT NO. 13 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF KERB COUNTY CORRECTION DETENTION FACILITY On this the 12th day of May 1978, came on to be examined by the Court, the Contractor's request for Payment No. 13 of the Construction Contract for the Kerr County Correction- ~,}~ i ~v„p, :Detention Facility. L"" Said request for payment having been examined by Lester B. Whitton, P.E. and A. B. 'Swank, F.A.I.A. and recommended to the Court that payment be made to C. A. Logeman, Inc., ~~ i! t. } in the amount of $20,874.00. Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved the Contractor's Request for Payment No. 13 of the Construction Contract and the Auditor and Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw a voucher in the amount of $20,874.00, payable to C. A. Logeman, Inc., out of the Kerr County Jail Construction Fund. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13333 ORDER AUTHORIZING COUNTY DEPOSITORY TO MAKE SUBSTITUTION OF SECURITIES PLEDGED TO SECURE DEPOSITORY PLEDGE CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING FROST NATIONAL BANK TO RELEASE PREVIOUSLY PLEDGED SECURITIES On this the 12th day of May, 1978, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the letter request of the Chas. Schreiner Bank, the County Depository of Kerr County, to make a substitution of securities now pledged to secure that certain Depository Pledge Contract entered into between the said Bank and Kerr County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 7, page 293 of the ---- Bond Record of Kerr County, Texas, on April 11, 1977; And it appearing to the Court that the Depository Bank desires to sell $200,000.00 in _ U. S. Treasury 7 7/8g notes maturing on May 15, 1978, and that the said Bank should properly be allowed to make a substitution of acceptable securities, It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and un- animously approved by the Court that the aforesaid request of the said Chas. Schreiner Bank be granted and that the said County Depository Bank be authorized to substitute securities as follows: 1 $200,000.00 U. S. Treasury 7 7/8~ Note, Series G, '82, maturing March 31, 1982; for the Following previously pledged U. S. Treasury notes: "U 1 $200,000.00 U. S. Treasury 7 7/8°s note, Series F '78, maturing May 15, 1978; And it is further ordered that the Frost National Bank of San Antonio, Texas, the custodian of the aforesaid U. S. Treasury note, Series F '78, be, and is hereby authorized to release same to the said Chas. Schreiner Bank upon receipt of 1 $200,000.00 U. S. Treasury 7 7/8o note, Series G. '82, and to hold the said note as custodian pursuant to the usual and customary terms applicable to the existing depository pledge contract; and it is further ordered that the Clerk of the Court provide certified copies of this Order to each Bank concerned. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13334 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF MARY BROOKS, DISTRICT CLERK, FOR APPOINTMENT OF ROSEMARY DENSFORD AS DEPUTY DISTRICT CLERK OF IGERR COUNTY, TEXAS On this the 12th day of May 1978, came on to be considered by the Court, the application of Mary Brooks, District Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, for authority to appoint and deputize Rosemary Densford, as Deputy District Clerk, and it appearing to the Court that said applica- tion should be approved, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Rosemary Densford as Deputy District Clerk, and that her salary be fixed at $6000.00 per annum, effective the date of her qualification, the same being May 15th, 1978, payable out of Officers Salary Fund. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13335 APPROVAL OF COUNTY TREASURER'S REPORT FOR QUARTER ENDING MARCH 31, 1978 On this the 12th day of May 1973, in Regular Session of Commissioners' Court, came on for examination the Quarterly Report of Mrs. E.
