and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
N0.13339 ACCEPTANCE OF DELIVERY OF TWO 1978 MODEL TWO-TON CHASSIS CAB DUMP TRUCKS FROM
KEN STOEPEL FORD, INC., FOR USE BY COMMISSIONERS' PRECINCTS NOS. 1 and 3 AND
AUTHORIZATION FOR PAYMENT
On this the 25th day of May 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of delivery of two 1978 Model
Two-ton Chassis Cab Dump Trucks from Ken Stoepel Ford, Inc., for use by Commissioners'
Precincts Nos. 1 and 3, as follows:
One 1978 Ford F600 Chassis Cab Dump Truck, Key No. FA1564, Motor No. F60DVCA2128,
for use by Commissioner's Precinct No. 1, in the amount of $10,859.00, as per bid
price, and
One 1978 Ford F600 Chassis Cab Dump Truck, Key No. FA0187, Motor No. F60DVCA2129 for
use by Commissioner's Precinct No. 3, in the amount of $10,859.00, as per bid price,
"~ and that the Auditor and Treasurer be authorized to draw vouchers on the General Road and
Bridge Fund, in the above amounts, payable to Ken Stoepel Ford, Inc.

NO. 13340 RESIGIATION OF LARRY M. HOLLOWAY, DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERB COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 31st day of May 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
"-' by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Larry M.
Holloway be ratified and confirmed, with regret, effective May 31st, 1978 and that he be
granted five days leave with pay, thru June 5th, 1978.

NO. 13341 RESIGNATION OF LAWRENCE CASTLEBERRY, JR., AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERB COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 31st day of May 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Lawrence Castleberry',
Jr., be ratified and confirmed, effective May 31, 1978.

NO. 13342 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF PAUL FIELDS, SHERIFF, FOR APPOINTMENT OF BRUCE SCIBA
AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 31st day of May 1978, came on to be considered by the Court, the application
of Paul Fields, Sheriff, for authority to appoint and deputize Bruce Sciba, as Deputy Sheriff
of Kerr County, Texas, and it appearing to the Court that said application should be approved,'
therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court
unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Bruce Sciba as Deputy Sheriff'
and that his salary be fixed at $9,600.00 per annum, effective the date of his qualification,
the same being May 31st, 1978, and that his salary be paid out of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.
