On this the 12th day of June 1978, came on to be examined by the Court the various claims
and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners' Precincts, since the last
term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor and Treasurer,
in amounts and out of Road and Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, Lateral Road 3, Lateral Road 4,
General, Officers Salary, County Law Library, Kerr County Public Library, Jury, Kerr County
Juvenile Probation, 216th District Probation and Permanent Improvement Funds, as shown in the
Minutes of Accounts Allowed, from page 49 thru
53 , which were made a part hereof and of
this order.

NO. 13350 MONTHLY REPORTS OF COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICIALS OF KERR COUNTY APPROVED
On this the 12th day of June 1978, came on to be examined by the Court the various reports
of May of the County and Precinct Officers of I:err County, Texas, the same having been heard
and considered by the Court, finds that said reports be accepted, therefore, upon motion made
by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that
the submitted reports be accepted and filed with the County Clerk for future reference and
subject to audit.

NO. 13351 ORDER AUTHORIZING COMPENSATION FOR PUBLIC WEIGHER'S ASSISTANT
On this the 12th day of June 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that Clayton Milton be compensated for the

of the General Fund.

NO. 13352 COMMISSIOPIERS' COURT TO MEET AS BOARD OF EQUALIZATION JULY 7th, 1978
On this the 12th day of June 1978, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of the Commissioners' Court sitting as a Board of Equalization, and it appearing to
the Court that the same is a necessity; therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Stone,
seconded by Commissioner Lich, it was unanimously approved that the Commissioners' Court
convene on Friday, July 7th, 1978, between the hours of 9:00 o'clock A. M. and 3:00 o'clock
P. M., and that proper notices be published and also notices be mailed to those property
owners whose valuations the Court proposes to change.

NO. 13353 ORDER APPROVING REQUEST OF CONTRACTOR, C. A. LOGEMAN, INC., FOR PAYMENT NO. 14
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF KERR COUNTY CORRECTION/DETENTION FACILITY
On this the 12th day of June 1978, came on to be examined by the Court, the Contractor's
request for Payment No. 14 of the Construction Contract for the Kerr County Correction/Deten-
tion Facility. Said request for payment having been examined by Lester B. Whitton, P. E. and
A. B. Swank, F.A.I.A. and recommended to the Court that payment be made to C. A. Logeman, Inc,
in the amount of $22,587.00.
Therefore, on motion made by Cimmissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the
Court unanimously approved the Contractor's Request for Payment No. 14 of the Construction
Contract and the Clerk and Treasurer are hereby authroized to draw a voucher in the amount
of $22,587.00, payable to C. A. Logeman, Inc., out of the Kerr County Jail Construction Fund.

NO. 13354 ORDER AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF UNCLAIMED CASH BOND FUNDS FROM THE TRUST FUND OF THE
COUNTY CLERK INTO THE GENERAL FUND OF KERR COUNTY
On this the 12th day of June, 1978, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of unclaimed cash bond funds in the amount of $200.00 being held by the Clerk of the
County Court of Kerr County in her Trust Fund; and it appearing to the Court that, as evidenc- ~`
ed by ticket no. 6118 dated May 24, 1977, the sum of $200.00 was paid into the said Trust Fund
in the form of a cash bond intended to assure the appearance of one Larry Wendell Mahon to
answer to the County Court of Kerr County on a criminal charge for which he had been arrested
by the Kerr County Sheriff's Office; and it further appearing to the Court that the contemplat-
ed criminal charge was never filed on the docket of the County Court of Kerr County, and that
no such filing of charges is now or hereafter contemplated; and it further appearing to the

Court that all efforts to locate the said Larry Wendell Mahon at his last known address so that
a refund could be made have been unsuccessful; it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich,
'seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously approved by the Court that the County Clerk
of Kerr County be and is hereby authorized to pay the aforesaid unclaimed cash bond funds in
'the amount of $200.00 to the County Treasurer of Kerr County for deposit in the General Fund
of Kerr County, subject to the right of the said Larry Wendell Mahon or his legal representa-
tives to be reimbursed upon presentation of proper claim to Kerr County.
