COURT CONVENED IN SPECIAL SESSION JUNE 27th, 1978, at 8:30 .o'clock. A. M., with
the following officers present:

Clinton M. Sallee Commissioner Precinct No. 2
Roger Stone Commissioner Precinct No. 4
and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had:
NO. 13367 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF PAUL FIELDS, SHERIFF, FOR APPOINTMENT OF JOHN R.
ALEXANDER AS CHIEF DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 27th day of June 1978, came on to be considered by the. Court, the applica-
tion of Paul Fields, Sheriff, for authority to appoint and deputize John R. Alexander as
Chief Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, and it appearing to the Court that said applica-
tion should be approved, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by
Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize
John R. Alexander as Chief Deputy Sheriff and that his salary be fixed at $9,800.00 per
annum, effective July 1st, 1978, and that his salary be paid out of Revenue Sharing Trust
Fund.

NO. 13368 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF PAUL FIELDS, SHERIFF, FOR APPOINTMENT OF DAVID
BLANKENSHIP AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERB COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 27th day of June 1978, came on to be considered by the Court, the applica-
tion of Paul Fields, Sheriff, for authority to appoint and deputize David Blankenship, as
Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, and it appearing to the Court that said application
should be approved, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commis-
sioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize
David Blankenship as Deputy Sheriff and that his salary be fixed at $9600.00 per annum „
effective June 27th, 1978, the date of his qualification, and that his salary be paid out
of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.

NO. 13369 TRANSFER OF $5288.97 FROM OFFICERS SALARY FUND TO REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUDID
On this the 29th day of June 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved that the Clerk and Treasurer be authoriz-
ed to transfer the sum of $5288.97 from the Officers Salary Fund to the Revenue Sharing Trust
Fund, as a reimbursement to cover deficiency.
