On this the 26th day of July 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that the bid of Gold Paving & Aggregate,
Inc., be accepted as the lowest and best bid, for paving in Kerr County Precincts Nos. 1, 2
and 3, as follows:
.58 per gallon for AC-5 asphalt
and
$5.00 per cubic yard to spread paving rock
Gold Paving & Aggregate, Inc., to purchase all asphalt and Kerr County
to provide all paving rock.

as Chief Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, with regret, effec-
tive July 31, 1978.

NO. 13399 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF PAUL FIELDS, SHERIFF, FOR APPOINTMENT OF BILL BRANDON
AS CHIEF DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERB COUNTY, TEXAS
On this the 28th day of July 1978, came on to be considered by the Court, the application
of Paul Fields, Sheriff, for authority to appoint and deputize Bill Brandon, as Chief Deputy

Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, and it appearing to the Court that said application should be
approved, therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Stone,
the Court unanimously approved that said officer be authorized to deputize Bill Brandon as
Chief Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas and that his salary be fixed at $9804.00 per annum,
effective August 1, 1978, payable out of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.

Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that a fund, to be known as Flood Damage
Repair Fund, be established on the books of the County Treasurer, as a separate bank account.

NO. 13402 TRANSFER OF $30,000.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO FLOOD DAMAGE REPAIR FUND
On this the 7th day of August 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by
Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that the Clerk and Treasurer be, and are
hereby authorized to transfer the sum of $30,000.00 from the General Fund to the Flood Damage
Repair Fund.

by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Kerrville Country Estates
Section Two, subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of roadways will not be assumed
by Kerr County until residential development shall justify said maintenance and until roads
are constructed to specifications of the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. One.
