~; NO. 13429 ORDER ESTABLISHING BASIS FOR AND CLERICAL PROCEDURES TO BE EMPLOYED IN VALUATIOTd
OF REAL ESTATE AND IMPROVEMENTS, LIVESTOCK, AUTOMOBILES AND ALL OTHER TAXABLE
PROPERTY FOR THE YEAR 1979
On this the 11th day of September, 1978 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of classifying lands in Kerr County for tax purposes and establishing the basis
for valuations to be employed by the Tax Assessor of Kerr County, Texas, as well as clerical
procedures to be employed in taking renditions for 1979 ad valorem taxes; and it appearing
to the Court that certain guidelines should be established to furnish the basis for such
valuations as well as clerical procedures to be employed, it is therefore ordered and the Tax
Assessor of Kerr County is hereby instructed to list the full market value of all properties
rendered for 1979 with the ratio of valuations to be employed to be determined subsequently.
And it is further ordered that those properties for which exemption from ad valorem
taxes are claimed pursuant to provisions of Article 7150, Revised Civil Statutes, or other
applicable laws shall be separately listed by the owners thereof, together with the basis for
claiming exemption from taxation, provided that this requirement shall not extend to the
properties owned by the United States of America, the State of Texas or any of its political
subdivisions or to any school district.
On motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the foregoing order ^/~
was unanimously approved, this the 11th day of September, 1978.

NO. 13430 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS IN CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSITS WITH
CHAS. SCHREINER BANK
ON this the 11th day of September 197II, came on to be heard and considered by the Court,
the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit and for the amounts and period of
time as listed below:

made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved
the above mentioned investments in Interest Bearing Certificates of Deposits, with the Chas.
Schreiner Bank, which investments shall be for the amounts and period of time as shown above.
And it is further ordered that proper vouchers be drawn on the funds aforementioned and in
the amounts above set forth to effect the aforesaid investments with the Chas. Schreiner Bank.

NO. 13431 ACCEPTANCE OF 1977 AUDIT AND PAYMENT OF SAME
On this the 11th day of September 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the Audit of the 1977 Kerr County
Records, by Pressler, Thompson and Company, be accepted, and that their claim in the amount

of $11,396.85, for their services be paid and that the Auditor and Treasurer be authorized

to draw a voucher on the General Fund in the amount of $11,396.95, payable to Pressler,
Thompson and Company.

NO. 13432 APPROVAL OF RE-PLAT OF CLEARVIEW ESTATES UNIT T[4O
On this the 11th day of September 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the Re-Plat of Clearview Estates, Unit
Two, providing that actual maintenance of roadways will not be assumed by Kerr County until
residential development shall justify said maintenance.

On this the 11th day of September 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of West Gate Place, Section

On this the 11th day of September 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Forest West Section Two.

On this the 11th day of September 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, second-
ed by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Forest West Section Three.

NO. 13436 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF THE WOODS
On this the 11th day of September 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of The Woods, provided in so
doing, that actual maintenance of roadways will not be assumed by Kerr County until residen-
tial development shall justify said maintenance and until roads are constructed to specifica-
tions of the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. Two.

NO. 13437 TRANSFER OF $10,000.00 FROM HIGHWAY 16 RIGHT-OF-WAY FUND TO LOOP 534 RIGHT OF WAY
FUND
On this the 11th day of September 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County Treasurer
be authorized to transfer the sum of $10,000.00 from Highway 16 Right-of-Way Fund to Loop 534
Right of Way Fund.

NO. 13438 APPORTIONMENT OF $15,000.00 FROM F.M. & LATERAL ROAD
On this the 11th day of September 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County
Treasurer be, and are hereby authorized to apportion the sum of $15,000.00 from the F. M. &
Lateral Road Fund to the four Road and Bridge Precincts, as follows:
