er be authorized to transfer the sum of $10,000.00 from the General Fund to the Officers
Salary Fund.

At 9:00 o'clock A. M., a public hearing was held in the matter of adoption of the proposed
operating budget of Kerr County for 1979 and the hearing adjourned at 9:45 o'clock A. M.,
and the following proceedings were had:
NO. 13441 ADOPTION OF PROPOSED OPERATING BUDGET OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS FOR THE YEAR 1979
On this the 15th day of September 1978, came on to be considered by the Court the
public hearing in the matter of the Adoption of the Proposed Operating Budget of Kerr County
for the calendar year and fiscal year 1979, including proposed use of General Revenue Sharing
Funds
It appearing to the r_ourt that proper notices have been published in the official news-
paper of Kerr County in the City of Kerrville, Texas, for more than ten days prior to the
hearing date hereof, and after thorough examination by the Court and the consideration of the
public interest of the Community, the Court is of the opinion that the proposed budget should
be approved.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the
Court unanimously approved the Operating Budget for the calendar and fiscal year 1979,
including the proposed use of General Revenue Sharing Funds.

as a member of the Kerr County Historical Commission.

NO. 13444 SALARY INCREASE FOR SECRETARY TO COUNTY AGENTS APPROVED
On this the 15th day of September 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved a merit increase in salary for the
Secretary to the County Agents, effective as of September 1, 1978, from $6408.00 per annum to
$6720.00 per annum.

NO. 13445 APPROVAL OF AUDIT PROPOSAL BY PRESSLER, THOMPSON AND COMPANY OF LPW GRANT NO.

On this the 15th day of 6eptember 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of an audit proposal by
Pressler, Thompson and Company in regard to Local Public Works Grant No. 08510090 for Kerr
County, as per letter proposal on file in the Office of the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas.

NO. 13446 ACCOUNTING FIRM OF PRESSLER, THOMPSON & COMPANY EMPLOYED TO AUDIT 1978 KERR COUNTY

On this the 15th day of September 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that the professional services of
Pressler, Thompson and Company be employed to audit the books of the County and Precinct
Officials of Kerr County, Texas, for the year 1978.

NO. 13447 ORDER APPROVING REQUEST OF CONTRACTOR, C. A. LOGEMAN, INC., FOR PAYMENT NO. 17 FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF KERR COUNTY CORRECTION-DETENTION FACILITY
On this the 15th day of September 1978, came on to be examined by the Court, the Con-
tractor's Request for Payment No. 17 of the Construction Contract for the Kerr County Correc-
tion Detention Facility.
Said request for payment having been examined by Lester B. 4dhitton, P. E. and A. B.
Swank, F.A.I.A. and recommended to the Court that payment be made to C. A. Logeman, Inc., in
the amount of $19,279.00.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the
Court unanimously approved the Contractor's Request for Payment No. 17 of the Construction
Contract and the Clerk and Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw a voucher in the amount of
$19,279.00, payable to C. A. Logeman, Inc., out of the Kerr County Jail Construction Fund.
