NO. 13459 APPOINTMENT OF MR. JOHN HALLIBURTON TO THE KERRVILLE-KERB COUTdTY AIRPORT BOARD
On this the 9th day of October 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that Kerr County concur with the
City of Kerrville in the appointment of Mr. John Halliburton to the Joint Airport Board, to
fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. L. C'1. Vansant.

NO. 13460 ORDER AUTHORIZING COUNTY ATTORNEY TO INTERVENE IN DELINQUENT TAX SUITS PENDING
in 216TH JIDICIAL DISTRICT COURT
On this the 9th day of October, 1978, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
necessity of authorizing and directing County Attorney James C. Nogues to act on behalf of
Kerr County and the State of Texas in the matter of intervening and filing claims in the 216th
Judicial District Court of Kerr County, pursuant to Article 7345b, Texas Civil Statutes, the
said causes being delinquent tax suits, listed as follows:

It appearing to the Court that the Kerr County Tax Collector has been heretofore served
with citation in said causes on behalf of Kerr County and the State of Texas and that interven-
tion and filing of a claim in these causes is required to preserve the claims of Kerr County
and the State of Texas arising from delinquent taxes due them and constituting a lien on the
property which is subject to the said delinquent tax suit, it is ordered on motion by Commis-
sioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Garrett and unanimously approved by the Court that the
County Attorney, James C. Nogues, be authorized and directed to proceed to file an intervention
in the said cause as above set forth and otherwise proceed according to law in this matter.

CONSORTIUM
On this the 9th day of October, 1978, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of appointing a Kerr County representative to the Alamo Manpower Consortium which
is comprised of the 12 counties of the AACOG region and the City of San Antonio; and it appear-
ing to the Court that J. Louis Odle in his capacity as City Tdanager of the City of Kerrville
can most effectively represent the interest of all the governmental entities of Kerr County
in the functions of the Manpower Consortium, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Sallee,
seconded by Commissioner Garrett, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County shall
hereafter and until further orders of the Court be represented in the Alamo Manpower Consortium
by J. Louis Odle, City Manager of the City of Kerrville, and that he shall be vested with full
powers of voting and participating in all matters not requiring direct approval or action by
the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County.
