NO. 13500 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF Y7ESTWOOD PARK ESTATES
On this the 13th day of November 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Westwood Park Estates, a
4.7914 acre subdivision, out of Oliver P. Moore Survey No. 29.

NO. 13501 ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF KEN STOEPEL FORD, LINCOLN, MERCURY, FOR THREE 1979 FOUR DOOR
SEDANS FOR USE BY THE KERR COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
On this the 13th day of November 1978, came on to be considered by the Court the
bids for three 1979 four door sedans for use by the Kerr County Sheriff's Department, as per
specifications on file in the office of the County Clerk.
Upon recommendation of our County Auditor, Don Williamson, it is found that the bid
of Ken Stoepel Ford,~Lincoln, Mercury, be accepted as the lowest and best bid, as follows:
Item #1: For two 1979 four door sedans, with trade-in of two 1976 Chevrolet
four door sedans, as per specifications, in the amount of $6698.00 each.
Item #2: For one 1979 four door sedan, with trade-in of one 1975 Ford four door
sedan, as per specifications, in the amount of $6190.00.
Total bid price for three cars - $19586.00
Upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court un-
animously approved acceptance of the bid.

NO. 13502 APPOINTMENT OF CECIL R. SMITH AS A MEMBER OF THE KERR COUNTY HISTORICAL SURVEY
COMMISSION
On this the 13th day of November 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the appointment of Cecil R. Smith as an
additional member of the Kerr County Historical Survey Commission.

NO. 13503 ORDER AUTHORIZING INVESTMENT OF SURPLUS FUNDS IN CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSITS WITH
CHAS. SCHREINER BANK
On this the 13th day of November 1978, came on to be heard and considered by the Court,
the matter of investing certain funds currently on deposit and for the amounts and period of
time as listed below:
FUND AMOUNT PERIOD OF TIME
Courthouse & Jail Bond Sinking Fund $20,500.00 To mature 2/1/1979
Certificates of Obligation Sinking
Fund 4,700.00 To mature 2/1/1979
and that these funds should be invested as soon as possible in Interest Bearing Certificates
of Deposits, pending possible need of these funds for expenditure, it is ordered on motion
made by Conunissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved
the above mentioned investments in Interest Bearing Certificates of Deposits, with the Chas.
Schreiner Bank, which investments shall be for the amounts and period of time as shown above.
And it is further ordered that proper vouchers be drawn on the funds aforementioned and
in the amounts above set forth to effect the aforesaid investments caith the Chas. Schreiner
Bank.
