NO. 13509 ORDER APPROVING REQUEST OF CONTRACTOR, C. A. LOGEMAN, INC., FOR PAYMENT NO. 19
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF KERB COUIQTY CORRECTION/DETENTION FACILITY
On this the 13th day of November 1978, came on to be examined by the Court, the
Contractor's Request for Payment No. 19 of the Construction Contract for the Kerr County
Correction-Detention Facility.
Said request for payment having been examined by Lester B. Whitton, P. E. and A. B.
Swank, F.A.I.A. and recommended to the Court that payment be made to C. A. Logeman, Inc., in
the amount of $41,331.00.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the
Court unanimously approved the Contractor's Request for Payment No. 19 of the Construction
Contract and the Auditor and Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw a voucher in the amount
of $41,331.00, payable to C. A. Logeman, Inc., out of the Kerr County Jail Construction Fund.

NO. 13510 GENERAL ELECTION RETURNS CANVASSED AND TABULATED
On this the 13th day of November 1978, came on to be considered by the Court the returns
to be canvassed, to determine the results of the General Election held on November 7th, 1978.
And the Court having canvassed and tabulated the returns of the Nineteen Election Precincts
and the Absentee Canvassing Board Box, are of the opinion that said returns, after having
been opened and canvassed, are true and correct and should be approved.
Therefore, on motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the
Court unanimously approved that the returns as canvassed and tabulated in Volume 6, Pages
77 thru 84, Record of Election Returns of Kerr County, Texas, and as certified thereto by
each member of the Court, are in all respects approved.

NO. 13511 ORDER RESCINDING ORDER NO. 13488 - IN RE: BID OF SOUTHERN STEEL COMPAIQY FOR
INSTALLATION OF PADDING IN MENTAL HOLDING CELL IN KERR COUNTY CORRECTION-
DETENTION FACILITY
On this the 13th day of November 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, second-
ed by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that Order No. 13488 be rescinded -
Re: Bid of Southern Steel Company declined Kerr County's order for padding for the mental
holding cell in the Kerr County Correction/Detention Facility, and that Kerr County re-
negotiate proposal of Nova Plastics, Inc. for installation of material, as recommended by
A. B. Swank, F.A.I.A. and Lester B. L7Yiitton, P.E.

On this the 13th day of November 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the Minutes of Commissioners' Court
