Sallee Commissioner Precinct No. 2 Victor Lich Commissioner Precinct No. 3 Roger Stone Commissioner Precinct No. 4 The taking of bids for a contract proposed to be let by the County for Renovation of the Ground Floor of the Kerr County Courthouse was declared closed at this time. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o Three sealed bids were opened and read aloud by the County Judge, Julius R. Neunhoffer, as follows: Badgett Construction Co. Blanchard Associates, Inc. and Martinez Brothers and the following order was passed: NO. 13513 ORDER TO REFER ALL BIDS TO LESTER B. S4HITTON ASSOCIATES, PLANNING CONSULTANT, FOR TABULATION,FOSSIBLE REVISION, RECOMMENDATIONS & EVALUATION On this the 21st day of November 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Lich, it was unanimously approved by the Court that all bids for a contract proposed to be let by the County for the Renovation of the Ground Floor of the Kerr County Courthouse, Kerrville, Texas, be submitted to Lester B. Whitton Associates and the County Auditor for tabulation, possible revision, recommendations and evaluation, and that final award of a contract is proposed to be made on the 11th day of December, 1978, by the Commis- sioners' Court, at the regular December 1978 Term, at 1:30 o'clock P. M. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13514 ORDER APPROVING PLANS FOR TAXIWAY AND APRON CONSTRUCTION AT LOUIS SCHREINER FIELD On this the 21st day of November, 1978, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of approving plans for taxiway and apron construction at Louis Schreiner Field, which plans have heretofore been prepared by Bovay Engineers, Inc., and are on file with the City of Kerrville, said plans and specifications being those prepared in conjunction with City-County ADAP Project No. 5-48-0121-04; and it appearing to the Court that the aforesaid plans and specifications have heretofore been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration and the Texas Areonautics Commission; and it further appearing that I:err County is desirous in joining with the City of Kerrville in proceeding with the implementation of the aforesaid construction and is prepared to fund one half of the local cost of the said project; it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously ~ ~., approved by the Court that Kerr County approve the aforesaid plans and specifications as ~/ prepared by Bovay Engineers, Inc. for the taxiway and apron construction pursuant to City- County ADP Project No. 5-48-0121-04. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 13515 ORDER DIRECTING COUNTY ATTORNEY TO FILE SUIT FOR DELINQUENT 1977 AD VALOREM TAXES O4dED BY 40 LOVACA GATHERING COMPANY On this the 21st day of November 1978 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of directing the County Attorney of Kerr County to file suit for the collection of delinquent ad valorem taxes for the year 1977 assessed on the Kerr County Tax Roll against 40 LoVaca Gathering Company, which taxes remain wholly unpaid despite proper notice as required by law; and it appearing to the Court efforts to collect the said taxes for the year 1977 have been unsuccessful, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by 39~ !~ Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by the Court that the County Attorney of Kerr '' County be directed to file suit in the District Court of Kerr County to collect all delinquent ad valorem taxes assessed against 40 LoVaca Gathering Company on the 1977 Kerr County Tax Roll, together with accrued penalties and interest; and that such suit shall include all 1977 ad valorem taxes owing the State of Texas, Kerr County, Divide Common School District No. 12, and the Upper Guadalupe River Authority as per the aforesaid 1977 Tax Roll. 0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 NO. 13516 ACCEPTANCE OF ROADS4AYS IN GUADALUPE RANCH ESTATES, SECTION ONE, SECTION TV7O AND SECTIOIQ THREE On this the 21st day of November 1978, came on to be considered by the Court, the matter of acceptance of roadways in Guadalupe Ranch Estates, Section One, Section Two and Section Three, in Kerr County Commissioner's Precinct No. Four. Upon motion made by Commissioner ', Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved that Rerr County accept maintenance of roadways in Guadalupe Ranch Estates, Section One, Section Two and Section Three, and that the clause stated in Order No. 13345, dated b4ay 31, 1978, recorded in ' Volume O, Page 346, Order No. 13364, dated June 21, 1978, recorded in Volume O, Page 350 and Order iQo. 13466, dated October 9, 1978, recorded in Volume O, Page 383 of the Commissioners' Court Minutes of Kerr County, Texas, in regard to maintenance of roadways in Section One, Section Two and Section Three of Guadalupe Ranch Estates, be rescinded. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o N0. 13517 APPROVAL OF CERTIFICATES OF CORRECTION ON DELINQUENT TAX ROLL On this the 21st day of November 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved Certificate of Correction No. 4803, Page 211 for 1975 and Certificate of Correction No. 9512, Page 133 for 1974, on Delinquent Tax Rolls, by Doris Lee Smith, Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, Texas. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13518 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF OAK FOREST SOUTH On this the 21st day of November 1973, upon notion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded by Commissioner Stone, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Oak Forest South, being 28.13 acres out of Original 4dilliam T. Crook Survey 63, Abstract No. 116, Kerr County, Texas. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13519 ACCEPTANCE OF BID OF ATLAS DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTIONQ COMPANY FOR FLOOD DAMAGE REPAIR OIQ DENLU CROSSING On this the 21st day of November 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the Bid of Atlas Development and Construction Company, in the amount of $1550.00, for flood damage repair on Denlu Crossing - 1 mile North of Pikes Peak Road, Turtle Creek Ranches, to repair washed out crossing and furnish 40 ft. by 30" pipe for crossing, using the material in the right of way and adjacent to the washed out crossing, be accepted as the lowest and best bid. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13520 ACCEPTANCE OF BIDS OF REICHENAU BROS. CONSTRUCTION COMPANX AND TONY GONZALES, JR. FOR FLOOD DAMAGE REPAIR ON CAMP NTEETING ROAD CROSSING On this the 21st day of November 1973, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of two bids, as follows: Bid of Reichenau Bros. Construction Company in the amount of $2000.00 for flood damage repair on Camp T•4eeting Road Crossing - material and labor to tear out crossing, clean out pipe and put back in fill, compact and shape up for concrete work, and ~~ ~,;,
