NO. 13547 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS
On this the 28th day of December 1978, came on to be examined by the Court, the various
claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners' Precincts, since
the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor
and Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road and Bridge Precinct No. 2 and 4, General, Officers
Salary, County Law Library, Jury, and Flood Damage Repair Funds, as shown in the Minutes of
Accounts Allowed, page 123 which were made a part hereof and of this order.
Motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously approved
by the Court.

TQO. 13548 APPOINTMENT OF MILDRED CRENSHAW AS ALTERNATE PRESIDING ELECTION JUDGE OF ELECTION
PRECINCT NO. 6
On this the 28th day of December 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the appointment of Mildred Crenshaw
as Alternate Presiding Election Judge of Election Precinct No. 6, to fill the vacancy created
by the resignation of Mattie Lee.

NO. 13549 ORDER AMENDING ORDER NO. 12198 RELATIVE TO PAYMENT OF CERTAIN SALARIES AND
ALLOWANCES FROM REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND
On this the 28th day of December, 1978 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter oŁ amending order #12198 entered by the Court on the 12th day of August, 1974, and
which amended certain prior order of the Court relative to payments of certain salaries and
allowances out of the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund; and it appearing to the Court that
diminishing receipts into the Revenue Sharing Trust Fund and increases in the number of
personnel being paid out of said fund have complicated certain fiscal procedures when the
said fund becomes exhausted between quarterly payments received into the said Łund; it is
ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Sallee, and unanimously
approved by the Court that the aforesaid Order No. 12198 be amended effective January 1, 1979,
by deleting payments of all Deputy Sheriffs heretofore being made out of the said Revenue
Sharing Trust Fund; and it is further ordered that the said salaries thereafter be again paid
out of the Officers Salary Fund of l:err County.

NO. 13550 ORDER REVISING PROCEDURES FOR ISSUANCE OF DEPOSIT 4QARRANTS FOR FUNDS TO SE DEPOSITED
IN THE COUNTY TREASURY OF KERR COUNTY
On this the 28th day of December, 1978, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of revising procedures for the issuance of deposit warrants for funds to be deposit-
ed in the County Treasury of Kerr County pursuant to the provisions of Article 1657, V.A.T.S.;
and it appearing to the Court that such deposit warrants may be issued by the County Treasurer
under the provisions of Section 2 of Article 1657 as amended, thus relieving the County Clerk
of the duties heretofore prescribed by Section 1 of Article 1657 relative to the issuance of
such deposit warrants; and it further appearing to the Court that the County Auditor has

recommended the implementation of the provisions of Section 2 of Article 1657, it is ordered
~' on motion by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by
the Court that effective January 1, 1979 the provisions of Section 2 of Article 1657 be adopt-
ed, and that thereafter the County Clerk of Kerr County shall no longer be required to issue
the aforesaid deposit warrants, and that they shall thereafter be issued by the County
Treasurer of Kerr County pursuant to the provisions of Section 2 of Article 1657.

NO. 13551 ORDER DIRECTING PAYMENTS FROM COUNTY LA49 LIBRARY FUND TO DISTRICT CLERK FOR SERVICES
AS LIBRARIAN
On this the 28th day of December 1978, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of making payment to the District Clerk for services as Librarian for the County
Law Library out of County Law Library Fund exclusively rather than one half out oŁ said fund
and one half out of the General Fund of Kerr County; and it appearing to the Court that un-
committed revenues received into the County Law Library Fund are now sufficient to permit
the payment of the entire sums heretofore authorized for the aforesaid services out of the
said fund, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Stone,
and unanimously approved by the Court that effective January 1, 1979 the monthly payments in
the amount of $40.00 to the District Clerk of Kerr County for services as County Law Librarian
heretofore authorized by the Court be paid entirely out of the County Law Library Fund of Kerr
County.

NO. 13552 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF BURNEY OAK ESTATES
On this the 28th day of December 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Burney Oak Estates, provided ~"
that Kerr County will not assume responsibility for maintenance of roads until residential
development warrants it, and at that time, the roads must pass inspection of the County Commis-
sinner of Kerr County Precinct No. 2, before acceptance.

NO. 13553 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF PAUL FIELDS, SHERIFF, FOR APPOINTMENT OF ROBERT E.
'~ E. LOVE, JR., AS DEPUTY SHERIFF OF KERR COUNTY
On this the 28th day of December 1978, upon motion made by Commissioner Stone, seconded
by Commissioner Sallee, the Court unanimously approved the application of Paul Fields, Sheriff,
for the appointment of Robert E. Love, Jr., as Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, effec-
tive January 1st, 1979.
