ORDER N0. 13491 CONSENT TO THE APPOINTMENT TO FILL A VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF ASSISTANT COUNTY ATTORNEY On this the 26th day of October, 1978, came on to be considered by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, the matter of consenting to the appointment to fill a vacancy in the office of Assistant County Attorney to serve at a rate of compensation to be set by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, at the special instance and request of ar~d for a per iod of time to be deter mined by County Attorney James C.~ Vogues; and it appearing that a need exists to fill the vacancy in the office of Assistant County Attorney which will exist after October 31, 1978; and it appearing that the said James C. Vogues, County Attorney, has recommended the appointment of Scott S. Parker to the office of Assistant County Attorney effective November 1, 1978; and it further appearing that the said Scott S. Parker is duly lic ins ed and authorized to practice as an attorney and counselor at law in all the Courts of the State of Texas; and it further appearing that the County Attorney is authorized and empowered under the terms and provisions of Art. 331, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, to makesuch an appointment with the consent of the Commis sinner s Court; it is hereby ordered upon motion of Commissioner Sallee seconded by Commissioner Lich anc unanimously approved by the Court, that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County grant its consent to the appointment of Scott S. Parker to the office of Assistant County Attorney effective November Z, 1478; the said Scott S. Parker to have the same powers and authority as the County Attorney and to serve at the will of the said County Attorney. This consent is ~ subject, how- ever, to the said Scott S.
