ORDER GRANTING MONTHLY ALLOWANCE TO THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY OF
THE 216TH JUDICLAL DISTRICT
pn this the 9th day of January, 1978, came on to be heard and
considered by the Court the request of the District Attorney of the 216th Judicial
District for a monthly allowance of $250.00 to be applied towards his cost of
office rental and operations required for the discharge of his official duties; and it
appearing to the Court that Kerr County does not presently furnish office space
for the said District Attorney or otherwise contribute towards the expense of his
office operation other than by payment of Kerr County's pro-rata share of the
salary of one secretary; and it further appearing to the Court that the aforesaid
request may lawfully be granted pursuant to the authority of Article 332a,
Vernon's Civil Statutes, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Sallee, seconded
by Commissioner Lich and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County
grant an allowance of $250.00 per montlx($3,000.00 per annum) to the District
Attorney of the 216th Judicial District to assist him in the defraying of the cost
of office rental and operation, and that such allowance be paid out of the General
Fund of Kerr County effective January, 1978, at the rate of $250.00 per month.
