One 1978 Model two ton dump truck - cab and chassis for use by Icerr County Precinct No. 3, Less trade in of one 1964 Chevrolet 2 ton truck dump truck, as is, where is. Alternate bids for either or both units without trade- in will be considered. Bids to be received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., March 13th, 1978, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read. Cab and chassis shall be rated by manufacturer as 2-ton capacity with minimum G.V.W. rating of 16,000 and approximate payload capacity of 10,000. (Chassis to be equipped with 4 yard Galion Dump Bed and Hydraulic System). 2. Unit to be equipped with 8 cylinder heavy duty engine of at least 345 cubic inch displacement rating with extra cooling radiator. 3. Wheel base 132" minimum length and 69" minimum length from cab to center of rear axle. 4. Unit to be equipped with power steering. 5. Unit to be equipped with 2 speed rear axle rated at 15,000 lb. capacity. 6. Front axle to be rated at a minimum of 5,000 lbs. 7. Unit to be equipped with 2 West Coast rear view mirrors and with turn signal lights as required by law. 8. Front springs to be rated at minimum of 4,000 lbs. and rear springs at 10,600 lbs. minimum.
