NO. 13572 ORDER FOR PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF COUNTY DEPOSITORY FOR TWO YEAR PERIOD
On this the 8th day of January 1979, came on to be considered by the Court the necessity
to make notice by publication for the County Depository for two ensuing years, as per Article
2544, Vernon's Texas Statutes, and it appearing to the Court that such notice should be in
compliance with Article 2544 V.T.S. to enter into a contract with any banking corporation,
association or individual banker of said County, for the Depository of the County Funds,
County and District Court Trust Funds and County Public School Funds of said County in any
bank. Bids shall be in compliance with the provisions of Article 2545, Vernon's Texas
Statutes.
Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon,
and unanimously approved by the Court, that the County Judge be, and is hereby directed to
issue such notice of publication in the official newspaper of Kerr County, located within
the City of Kerrville, Kerr County, Texas, within twenty days before the Regular February
V.T.S.,
Term, to comply with said Article 2544f and shall also be posted at the Courthouse door.

NO. 13573 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF P4OUNTAIN TOP RANCHETTS
On this the 8th day of January 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Mountain Top Ranchetts,
subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of roadways will not be assumed by Kerr
County until residential development shall justify said maintenance and until roads are
constructed to specifications of the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. One.

On this the 8th day of January 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Melinda
Ahrens, as Deputy County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, with regret,
effective December 21, 1978.

NO. 13576 APPORTIONMENT OF $15,000.00 FROM GENERAL ROAD AND BRIDGE FUND
On this the 8th day of January 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerl: and County
Treasurer be authorized to apportion the sum of $15,000.00 from the General Road and Bridge Furrl
to the four Road	and Bridge	Precincts,	as follows:

by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved the Minutes of Commissioners' Court
of Kerr County, Texas, from pages 412 thru 416, Volume O.

NO. 13578 SPECIAL ELECTION RETURNS TO FILL VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF STATE REPRESENTATIVE,
56TH DISTRICT, UNEXPIRED TERM, 66TH LEGISLATURE, CADIVASSED AND TABULATED
On this the 8th day of January 1979, came on to be considered by the Court the returns
to be canvassed, to determine the results of the Special Election to fill the vacancy in the
Office of State Representative, 56th District, Unexpired Term, 66th Legislature, held on
January 6th, 1979. And the Court having canvassed and tabulated the returns of the Election
Precincts and the Absentee Canvassing Board Box, are of the opinion that said returns, after
having been opened and canvassed, are true and correct and should be approved.
Therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the
Court unanimously approved that the returns as canvassed and tabulated in Volume 6, Page 35,
Record of Election Returns of Kerr County, Texas, and as certified thereto by each member
of the Court, are in all respects approved.

NO. 13579 ORDER APPROVING PAYMENT OF ELECTION OFFICERS AND RENT, ETC. FOR USE OF BUILDINGS
IN HOLDING SPECIAL ELECTION ON JANUARY 6th, 1979
On this the 8th day of January 1979, upon motion made by Convnissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the payment of claims of the Election
Officials as per claims on file at $2.50 per hour and the Presiding Judges $10.00 for bringing
in returns of Election, including the Absentee Box, and payment to various places for the use
of buildings, heat, lights, etc., in holding the Special Election on January 6th, 1979.

_ NO. 13580 SALARIES OF ELECTED COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICIALS AND ALLOjdALdCES ADOPTED FOR THE
YEAR 1979
On this the 8th day of January 1979, came on to be considered by the Court the matter
of setting salaries and allowances for the year 1979, of elected County and Precinct Officials
of I:err County, Texas, and it appearing that the method of compensation has been duly set by
the Court according to law, it is therefore ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the annual salaries and
allowances be approved, as per schedule on file, effective as of January 1, 1979.

NO. 13581 TRANSFER OF $46,515.00 TO SOCIAL SECURITY FUND
On this the 8th day of January 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County Treasur-
er be, and are hereby directed to transfer the following amounts to the Social Security Fund
from their respective funds:
Jury Fund --------- $ 690.00
Road & Bridge Fund --- $10700.00
General Fund ----- $ 7625.00
Officers Salary Fund-- $27500.00
Total $46515.00
