until roads have been patched and re-sealed according to specifications of the Commissioner
of I:err County Precinct Number Three.

On this the 31st day of January, 1979, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of compensation to be paid Chester H. Borchers and wife, Susan A. Borchers, as
compensation for their conveyance to the State of Texas of a parcel of land required for
right of way for the construction of Loop 534, which land comprises II.746 acres of land out
of Survey T7o. 114, Thomas Hand, and is designated as Parcel No. 24 of said right of way;
and it appearing to the Court that an agreed amount of compensation has been arrived at, it

is ordered on motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously
approved by the Court that Kerr County offer to pay Chester H. Borchers and wife, Susan A.
Borchers, the sum of $29,865.00 as compensation for land and damages for their conveyance to
the State of Texas of Parcel 24 as aforesaid, subject to the execution and delivery of their
right of way deed; and it is further ordered that on approval for filing by the State Depart-
ment of Highways and Public Transportation of the aforesaid right of way deed, and on final
approval a voucher shall be drawn in -the amount of $29,865.00 on the Loop 534 Right of Clay
Fund, payable to Chester II. Borchers and Susan A. Borchers.

the necessity of authorizing and directing County Attorney James C. Tdogues to act on behalf
of Kerr County and the State of Texas in the matter of intervening and filing claims in -the
198th Judicial District Court of Kerr County, pursuant to Article 7345b, Texas Civil Statutes,
the said causes being delinquent tax suits, listed as follows:

It appearing to the Court that the Kerr County Tax Collector has been heretofore served

County and the State of Texas arising from delinquent taxes due them and constituting a lien
on the property which is subject to the said delinquent tax suits, it is ordered on motion
by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, and unanimously approved by the
Court that the County Attorney be authorized and directed to proceed to file an intervention
in the said causes as above set forth and otherwise proceed according to law in this matter.

On this the 5th day of February 1979, came on to be considered by the Court the returns
to be canvassed, to determine the results of the Second Special Election to Fill Vacancy in
Office of State Representative, 56th District, Unexpired Term, 66th Legislature, held on
February 3rd, 1979. And the Court having canvassed and tabulated 'the returns of the Election
Precincts and the Absentee Canvassing Board Box, are of the opinion that said returns, after
having been opened and canvassed are true and correct and should be approved.
Therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the
Court unanimously approved that the returns as canvassed and tabulated in Volume 6, Page 36,
Record of Election Returns of Kerr County, Texas, and as certified thereto by each member of
the Court, are in all respects approved.
