BRANTLEY, SR., Justice of the Peace, Prec. 5, fines & costs 90.00 P & W/L cases 8.00 JERRILYN RAY, County Extension Agent, Reports for March & April 1979 DWIGHT HARKEY, County Extension Agent, Reports for March & April 1979 JANICE LiIHITE, County Health Nurse, Report for April 1979 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13674 ORDER FIXING ASSESSMENT RATIO TO BE EMPLOYED FOR THE VALUATION OF PROPERTY ON THE 1979 TAX ROLL OF KERR COUNTY On this the 14th day of May, 1979, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of fixing the assessment ratio to be employed for the valuation of property on the 1979 tax roll of Kerr County; and it appearing to the_Court that by virtue or Order IQo. 13429 entered on the 11th day of September, 1978, the Court did order that - - - - - - - all properties rendered for taxes to the Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County should be rendered at full market value and that the ratio of valuation to be employed for the 1979 tax roll would be subsequently determined, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, and unanimously approved by the Court that all properties shall be placed on the 1979 tax roll of Kerr County at fifty five per cent of their r'ull 4~8 market value based on renditions made to the Tax Assessor of Kerr County or on values placed on unrendered properties by said Tax Assessor, subject to final adjustments, if any, made by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County sitting as a Board of Equalization. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13675 ORDER DISAPPROVING PORTION OF STATEL4IDE HUNTING, FISHING AND TRAPPING PROCLAA4ATION FOR 1979-u0 On this the 14th day of May, 1979, came on to be heard by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, sitting at its regular May, 1979 term and at its first regular meeting occurring more than 5 days subsequent to the 26th day of April, 1979, the matter of approval and/or disapproval of the provisions of Statewide Hunting, Fishing and Trapping Proclamation for 1979-80 as adopted by the Parks and Ldildlife Commission of the State of Texas on April 26, 1979, and after due consideration by the Court, it is ordered that those portions of said Proclamation not hereinafter disapproved by specific reference or by indirect reference are deemed to be approved and that the following portions, provisions and sections of said State- wide Proclamation for 1979-80 are hereby disapproved: I. Rule .305 "Definitions", Paragraph (h) which defines a "buck deer". - In disapproving the foregoing, it is the express intention of the Court to disapprove all portions of the aforesaid Statewide Proclamation for 1979-80 which would in any manner or by inference permit the lawful taking in Kerr County of buck deer not having at least one forked antler protruding through the skin, and it is the further intention of the Court that as a result of its action of disapproval of the foregoing section of said Statewide Proclama- tion for 1979-80 a buck deer shall be defined in the same manner as defined for Kerr County in Statewide Hunting, Fishing and Trapping Proclamation 1977-73 in Section .007, Paragraph 3, which provision and definition shall remain in force and effect in Kerr County for the 1979- 80 season pursuant to the provisions of House Bill No. 1893, Chapter 620, Acts of the 64th Legislature Regular Session, which statutory authority is also the basis for the action taken herein. II. Rule .333 which would establish a hunting season on javelina in Kerr County. In disapproving the foregoing it is the express intention of the Court that the prior status of no closed season or bag limit on javelina be continued as heretofore. III. Rule .345, Paragraph (c), which would provide a spring gobbler season for wild turkey in Kerr County. In disapproving the foregoing it is the express intention of the Court that the hunting of wild turkey in Kerr County shall remain subject to the same regulations as were in effect it in Kerr County for the year 1973-79. r On motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, the foregoing order is hereby approved by a unanimous vote of the Court, this the 14th day of May, 1979. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13676 ORDER DIRECTIidG REFUND OF UNEXPENDED BALANCE OF $30.69 IId KERB COUIdTY JUVENILE PROBATION FUND TO CRIMINAL JUSTICE DIVISION On this the 14th day of May, 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the Treasurer be directed to refund the unexpended balance of $80.69 remaining in the Kerr County Juvenile Probation ,,,_ Fund to the Criminal Justice Division of the office of the Governor, which balance remains from the third and final year of funding of the Kerr County Juvenile Probation Office by grant from the Criminal Justice Division; and it is further ordered that thereafter the Kerr County Juvenile Probation Fund be closed out on the books of the County Treasurer.
