~9 ~' NO. 13677 ORDER ESTABLISHING PROCEDURE FOR REGULAR INVESTMENTS OF COUNTY FUIQDS IN CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT 47ITH THE COUNTY DEPOSITORY BANK .~ On this the 14th day of May, 1979, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of establishing a procedure for the regular investment of County funds in certifi- Cates of deposit with the County Depository Bank; and it appearing to the Court that the favorable interest rates offered Kerr County by the terms of the current Depository Contract with the Chas. Schreiner Bank favor frequent short term investments in certificates of deposit., and that the prior practice of the Commissioners' Court of making such investments only after individual authorizations by the Court at its regular monthly terms of Court would result in losses of interest due to time delays between Court sessions, and that such individual orders of authorization, if continued, would become increasingly more numerous and burdensome; it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, and unanimously approved by the Court that, pending further orders of the Court, hereafter any surplus funds in the custody of the County Treasurer of Kerr County be invested in interest bearing certifi- cates of deposit with the County Depository Bank for such periods and in such amounts as the County Auditor and the County Treasurer, acting with the approval of County Judge, shall deem appropriate and in the best interest of Kerr County. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13678 APPOINTMENT OF RACHEL LUNA TO KERR COUNTY HISTORICAL SURVEY COMMISSION On this the 14th day of May 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved that Rachel Luna be appointed as a member of the Kerr County Historical Survey Commission. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o i1O. 13679 RESIGi1ATION OF SHIRLEY PAINS, AS DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK OF KERR COUNTY, TEXAS On this the 14th day of May 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Shirley Paine, as Deputy County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effective as of April 30, 1979. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13680 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF WOOD HILL ESTATES On this the 14th day of May 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Wood Hill Estates, subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of roadways will not be assumed by Kerr County, until residential development shall justify said maintenance and until roads are constructed to specifications of the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. 2. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13631 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF SLEEPY HOLLOL'7 On this the 14th day of May 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Sleepy Hollow, subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of roadways will not be assumed by I:err County, until residential development shall justify said maintenance and until roads are constructed to specifications of the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. 4. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o
