On this the 14th day of May 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that the Bid of Luce Construction
Company, of Uvalde, Texas, be accepted as the lowest bid for Flat Rock Dam Repairs, as
recommended by Engineer Consultants, Charles T. Holmes and Louis Domingues, in the amount
of $45,736.80.

NO. 13689 APPROVAL OF SALARY INCREASE OF ROBERT E. LOVE, JR., DEPUTY SHERIFF-CHIEF JAILER
On this the 14th day of May 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that Robert E. Love, Jr., Deputy
Sheriff-Chief Jailer, be granted a salary increase, effective May 1, 1979, from $9000.00 per
annum to $9900.00 per annum.

tion/Detention Facility, as constructed by C. A. LOGEMAN, INC., subject to recommendation
and completion, as recommended by Lester B. Whitton, P. E. and A. B. Swank, F.A.I.A.

NO. 13691 ORDER APPROVING REQUEST OF CONTRACTOR, C. A. LOGEMAN, INC. FOR PAYMEtdT NO. 25 -
PARTIAL PAYMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF KERB COUNTY CORRECTION/DETENTION FACILITY
On this the 23rd day of May 1979, came on to be examined by the Court, the Contractor's
Request for Payment No. 25, partial payment, of the Construction Contract, for the Kerr
County Correction/Detention Facility.
Said request for payment having been examined by Lester B. Whitton, P. E, and A. B. Swank,
F.A.I.A. and recommended to the Court that payment be made to C. A. Logeman, Inc., in the
amount of $34,610.55.
Therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon,
the Court unanimously approved the Contractor's Request for Payment No. 25 of the Construc-
tion Contract, partial payment, and that the Auditor and Treasurer are hereby authorized
to draw a voucher in the amount of $34,610.55, payable to C. A. Logeman, Inc., out of the
Kerr County Jail Construction Fund.

A. B. Swank, F.A.I.A., for professional services for time overage on the C. A. Logeman
Construction Contract, for the Kerr County Correction/Detention Facility, in the amount of
$10,000.00.
It is ordered by the Court that the Auditor and Treasurer be authorized to draw a
voucher on the General Fund, in the above amount, payable to Lester B. Whitton, P. E. and
A. B. Swank, F.A.I.A.

IN DISTRICT COURT
On this the 23rd day of May, 1979, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
necessity of authorizing and directing County Attorney James C. Noques to act on behalf of
Kerr County and the State of Texas in the matter of intervening and filing claims in the 216th
Judicial District Court of Kerr County, pursuant to Article 7345b, Texas Civil Statutes, the
said causes being delinquent tax suits, listed as follows:

It appearing to the Court that the Kerr County Tax Collector has been heretofore served

NO. 13694 ORDER AUTHORIZING COUNTY JUDGE TO EXECUTE QUITCLAIM DEED AS TO THE UNUSED PORTION
OF FORMER ROAD RIGHT OF WAY IN THE TOWN OF INGRAM
On this the 23rd day of May, 1979, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
request of Paul Roberts and wife, Leliah Roberts, for a quitclaim deed from Kerr County as
to a 0.05 acre portion of former road right of way in the Old Town of Ingram, lying between
their south property line of record and the heretofore established north right of way line of
the Ingram Loop Road formerly designated as State Highway 39; and it appearing to the Court
that the said 0.05 acre tract has not been used as road right of way for an unknown period of
time and has in fact been partially obstructed by one or more buildings for a long period of
time, and in fact could not be used and is not needed for public road purposes;
It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, and

unanimously approved by the Court that the County Judge of Kerr County be authorized to execute '~~~

Kerr County's quitclaim deed as to 0.05 acres of land out of Survey 129, F. Trevino, to Paul
Roberts and wife, Leliah Roberts, the said 0.05 acres of land being situated between their
south property line of record and the north right of way line of former State Highway 39, on
which the said parcel has a frontage of 56.07 feet as surveyed by Michael L. Hedges, Register-
ed Professional Engineer, on May 15, 1979.
