On this the 9th day of July 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved the proposed Grant Application to the
Texas Aeronautics Commission for Airport Runway Improvements, in the total estimated cost of
$235,724.00, subject to concurrence by the City of Kerrville.
It is ordered by the Court that County Judge, Julius R. Neunhoffer, be authorized to
execute the Grant Application on behalf of Kerr County.

NO. 13733 APPROVAL OF PROPOSED GRANT APPLICATION TO THE TEXAS AERONAUTICS COMMISSION FOR
ACQUISITION OF LAND FOR RUNWAY EXTENSION
On this the 9th day of July 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved the proposed Grant Application to the
Texas Aeronautics Commission for acquisition of land for runway extension and clear zone for
Airport second phase development, in the amount of $100,000.00, subject to concurrence by
the City of Kerrville.

NO. 13734 DESIGNATION OF MR. MALCOLM WALLACE OF SHELTON RANCH CORPORATION TO SERVE IN A
VOLUNTARY CAPACITY AS "AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR"
On this the 9th day of July 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved that Mr. Malcolm Wallace of Shelton
Ranch Corporation be designated to serve in a voluntary capacity as "Airport Development
Coordinator", subject to concurrence by the City of Kerrville.

NO. 13735 ORDER APPROVING REQUEST OF CONTRACTOR, C. A. LOGEMAN, INC. FOR PAYMENT NO. 26
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF KERR COUNTY CORRECTION-DETENTION
FACILITY
On this the 9th day of July 1979, came on to be examined by the Court, the Contractor's
Request for Payment No. 26 of the Construction Contract for the Kerr County Correction-
Detention Facility.
Said request for payment having been examined by Lester B. Whitton, P. E. and A. B.
Swank, F.A.I.A. and recommended to the Court that payment be made to C. A. Logeman, Inc.,
in the amount of $7,165.74.
Therefore, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the
Court unanimously approved the Contractor's Request for payment No. 26 of the Construction
Contract and the Auditor and Treasurer are hereby authorized to draw a voucher in the amount
of $7,165.74, payable to C. A. Logeman, Inc., out of the Kerr County Jail Construction Fund.

NO. 13736 APPROVAL OF PLAT OF TIERRA VERDE ESTATES - BEING A RE-PLAT OF LOTS 27, 28, 29
AND PART OF LOTS 30 and 31 OF KERRVILLE SOUTH RANCHES NO. 1
On this the 9th day of July 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved the Plat of Tierra Verde Estates,
„_ being a Re-Plat of Lots 27, 28, 29 and Part of Lots 30 and 31 of Kerrville South Ranches
No. 1, subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of roadways which are not presently
maintained by Kerr County, will not be assumed by Kerr County, until residential development
shall justify said maintenance and until roads are constructed to specifications of the
Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. One.
