NO. 13760 APPROVAL OF ANNUAL REPORTS OF TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR FOR TAX YEAR 1978, ENDING
JUNE 30, 1979
On this the 13th day of August 1979, came on to be examined by the Court the settlement
with Doris Lee Smith, Tax Assessor-Collector, for the period ending June 30, 1979 and it
appearing to the Court that said reports are in proper form and should be approved; and that
the Tax Assessor-Collector be credited with the amount as set forth on the current tax roll
of Insolvents, Errors, Delinquents and Discounts Allowed, as follows:

The collections represent a collection for the tax year 1978 in the amount of 93.8.
and also that the Tax Assessor-Collector be charged with the amount collected in addition to
the current rolls cf Insolvent Tax Collections, Redemptions, etc., as listed on the report.
Motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unani-
mously approved the Annual Reports of Tax Assessor-Collector, Doris Lee Smith, for Tax Year
1978, ending June 30, 1979.

NO. 13761 ORDER AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR KERB COUNTY LATERAL ROAL} SURPLUS FUNDS IN ACCOUNT
WITH BOARD OF COUNTY& DISTRICT ROAD IDIDEBTEDNESS
On this the 13th day of August 1979, it coming to the attention of the Court that there
will be surplus funds in the amount of $19,945.67 credited to the lateral road account of
Kerr County by the Board of County and District Road Indebtedness of the State of Texas, and
it appearing to the Court that said funds should properly be expended for the purpose of
construction and improvement of lateral roads within Kerr County, it is ordered on motion by
Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich and unanimously approved by the Court,
that Kerr County request the Board of County and District Road Indebtedness to forward the
said funds to the Treasurer of Kerr County, upon their becoming available, and it is further
ordered that all such funds are here and now earmarked, set aside and designated to be used
by Kerr County for the purpose of construction and improvement of Kerr County Lateral Roads,

and the Treasurer of Kerr County be directed to deposit such funds upon their receipt in the
proper fund in the County Depository and it is further ordered that the County Clerk prepare
a certified copy of this order and forward the same to the Board of County and District Road

NO. 13762 ACCEPTANCE OF FLAT ROCK DAM REPAIR BY LUCE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AND AUTHORIZATION
FOR FINAL PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $28,876.85
On this the 13th day of August 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved acceptance of Flat Rock Dam Repair
by Luce Construction Company, as recommended by Domingues Engineering and Surveying, in the
amount of $28,876.85.
It is ordered that the Auditor and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher in the
amount of $28,876.85, payable to First National Bank of Kerrville, Texas and Luce Constructions'
Company, out of Flood Damage Repair Fund.

NO. 13763 PAYMENT TO DOMINGUES ENGINEERING & SURVEYING FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR FLAT
ROCK DAM REPAIRS
On this the 13th day of August 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by
Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved payment to Domingues Engineering &
Surveying for professional services for Flat Rock Dam Repairs, in the amount of $1,143.43.
It is ordered that the Auditor and Treasurer be authorized to draw a voucher on the
Flood Damage Repair Fund, in the above amount, payable to Domingues Engineering & Surveying.

NO. 13764 BUDGET HEARING SET FOR AUGUST 30th, 1979 at 9:00 A. M.
On this the 13th day of August 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded
by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that a public hearing on the 1980
Budget for Kerr County, Texas, be set at 9:00 o'clock A. M., Thursday, August 30th, 1979 and
that the County Judge be hereby directed to issue notice by publication, with notice thereof
to be published in the official newspaper of Kerr County one time, that the Commissioners'
Court of Kerr County will submit for consideration of the public a Budget for the Control
of the County Financial Affairs for the calendar and fiscal year 1980, including General
Revenue Sharing Funds, the same to be at a public hearing to be held August 30th, 1979 at
9:00 o'clock A.M., in the Kerr County Commissioners' Courtroom of the Courthouse in Kerrville,
Texas.

NO. 13765 SALARY INCREASES FOR DISTRICT COURT REPORTERS OF THE 216th JUDICIAL DISTRICT
AND 198th JUDICIAL DISTRICT
On this the 13th day of August 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved salary increases of the District
Court Reporters, as follows:
That the salary of the Court Reporter of the 216th Judicial District, be set at $6,090.00,
effective September 1st, 1979, for Kerr County's proportion, and
That the salary of the Court Reporter of the 198th Judicial District, be set at $7,260.40,
effective September 1st, 1979, for Kerr County's proportion.
