Commissioner Precinct No. 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: NO. 13793 ORDER TO DEFER ACTION ON BIDS FOR ONE 1979 FOUR DOOR SEDAN FOR KERR COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT On this the 10th day of September 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, it was unanimously approved that the Court defer action on bids at this time, for one 1979 four door sedan for use by the Kerr County Sheriff's Department. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13794 ORDER EXPRESSING INTENTION OF KERR COUNTY TO PARTICIPATE IN MEMBERSHIP IN COUNTYWIDE TAX APPRAISAL DISTRICT AS CREATED BY SENATE BILL 621, 66TH LEGISLATURE On this the 10th day of September, 1979, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of Kerr County's participation in membership in the Countywide Tax Appraisal District as created under the provisions of Senate Bill 621, 66th Legislature, Regular Session; and it appearing to the Court after due study and deliberation that it would be in the best interest of the citizens of Kerr County Łor Kerr County's ad valorem tax appraisal system to be fully coordinated with that of other property taxing agencies in the County, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County, acting pursuant to applicable provisions of the said Senate Bill 621 and with the approval of the Kerr County Tax Assessor-Collector, hereby express its intention of par- ticipating in membership in the aforesaid Countywide Tax Appraisal District as created by Senate Bill 621 and to participate in the election of the initial Board of Directors of the Appraisal District; and it is further ordered that the Clerk of the Court deliver a certified copy of this order to the governing body of each taxing unit in the District, both voting and non-voting, prior to September 15, 1979, doing so by United States mail and in the name of the Commissioners' Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13795 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS AND ACCOUNTS On this the 10th day of September 1979, came on to be examined by the Court, the various claims and accounts against Kerr County and the respective Commissioners' Precincts, since the last term of Court, which claims and accounts were approved for payment by the Auditor and Treasurer, in amounts and out of Road & Bridge Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, Lateral Road 2, General, Officers Salary, County Law Library, Jury, Public Library, 216th District Probation, Jail Operating and General Road & Bridge Funds, as shown in the Minutes of Accounts Allowed, from page 53 thru 57 which were made a part hereof and of this order.
