County of the proposed exchange agreement is required by law, it is ordered on motion by
Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, and unanimously approved by the
Court that Kerr County approve the aforesaid right of way exchange agreement between O. B. ~1.
Walker and wife, Reseda A. L4alker, and the State of Texas, and that the County Judge be
authorized to sign the same on behalf of Kerr County.

NO. 13802 ORDER APPROVING RIGHT OF WAY EXCHANGE AGREEMENT BETWEEN A. P. ALLISON AND WIFE,	
IRENE ALLISON, AND THE STATE OF TEXAS AS TO PORTIONS OF F. M. 479 RIGHT OF WAY	
On this the 10th day of September, 1979 came on to be heard and considered by the Court	
the matter of approval of an agreement whereby A. P. Allison and wife, Irene Allison, have	
proposed to convey a parcel of new right of way for the reconstruction of a portion of F. M.	
Road 479 which comprises 2.414 acres out of Survey No. 10 Socorro Farming Co. in exchange for	
the reconveyance to them by the State of Texas of an adjacent 2.798 acre parcel of existing	
F. M. 479 right of way proposed to be abandoned following the construction of the relocated	
portion of F. Td. Road 479; and it appearing to the Court that Kerr County has heretofore	
included the aforesaid proposed right of way exchange as a portion of its negotiations for	
the acquisition of the new parcel of right of way concerned and that the approval of Kerr	
County of the proposed exchange agreement is required by law, it is ordered on motion by	
Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by the Court	
that Kerr County approve the aforesaid right of way exchange agreement between A. P. Allison

NO. 13803 APPROVAL OF PROPOSED FIRE FIGHTING AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF KERRVILLE
AND KERR COUNTY
On this the 10th day of September 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon,
seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved the Proposed Fire Fighting
Agreement, by and between the City of Kerrville and Kerr County, for a period of one year,
beginning on the 1st day of October 1979 and terminating on~the 30th day of September 1980,
subject to the concurrence by the City of Kerrville.

On this the 10th day of September, 1979 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of classifying lands in Kerr County for tax purposes and establishing the basis
for valuations to be employed by the Tax Assessor of Kerr County, Texas, as well as clerical
procedures to be employed in taking renditions for 1980 ad valorem taxes; and it appearing to
the Court that certain guidelines should be established to furnish the basis for such valua-
tions as well as clerical procedures to be employed, it is therefore ordered and the Tax
Assessor of Kerr County is hereby instructed to list the full market value of all properties
rendered for 1980 with the ratio of valuations to be employed to be determined subsequently;
And it is further ordered that those properties for which exemption from ad valorem
taxes are claimed pursuant to provisions of Article 7150, Revised Civil Statutes, or other
applicable laws shall be separately listed by the owners thereof, together with the basis for
claiming exemption from taxation, provided that this requirement shall not extend to the
properties owned by the United States of America, the State of Texas or any of its political
subdivisions or to any school district.
On motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the foregoing order
was unanimously approved, this the 10th day of September, 1979.

NO. 13806 ORDER AUTHORIZING COUNTY DEPOSITORY TO MAKE SUBSTITUTION OF SECURITIES PLEDGED TO
SECURE DEPOSITORY PLEDGE CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING FROST NATIONAL BANK TO RELEASE
PREVIOUSLY PLEDGED SECURITIES
On this the 10th day of September, 1979, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the letter request of Chas. Schreiner Bank, the County Depository of Kerr County, to make
a substitution of securities pledged to secure that certain Depository Pledge Contract entered
into between the said Bank and Kerr County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 7, page 415 of the
Bond Record of Kerr County, Texas, on March 19, 1979.
And it appearing to the Court that the Depository Bank desires to sell certain securities
and that the said Bank should properly be allowed to make a substitution of acceptable securi-
ties;
It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and
