On this the 10th day of September, 1979 came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the matter of classifying lands in Kerr County for tax purposes and establishing the basis
for valuations to be employed by the Tax Assessor of Kerr County, Texas, as well as clerical
procedures to be employed in taking renditions for 1980 ad valorem taxes; and it appearing to
the Court that certain guidelines should be established to furnish the basis for such valua-
tions as well as clerical procedures to be employed, it is therefore ordered and the Tax
Assessor of Kerr County is hereby instructed to list the full market value of all properties
rendered for 1980 with the ratio of valuations to be employed to be determined subsequently;
And it is further ordered that those properties for which exemption from ad valorem
taxes are claimed pursuant to provisions of Article 7150, Revised Civil Statutes, or other
applicable laws shall be separately listed by the owners thereof, together with the basis for
claiming exemption from taxation, provided that this requirement shall not extend to the
properties owned by the United States of America, the State of Texas or any of its political

NO. 13806 ORDER AUTHORIZING COUNTY DEPOSITORY TO MAKE SUBSTITUTION OF SECURITIES PLEDGED TO
SECURE DEPOSITORY PLEDGE CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING FROST NATIONAL BANK TO RELEASE
PREVIOUSLY PLEDGED SECURITIES
On this the 10th day of September, 1979, came on to be heard and considered by the Court
the letter request of Chas. Schreiner Bank, the County Depository of Kerr County, to make
a substitution of securities pledged to secure that certain Depository Pledge Contract entered
into between the said Bank and Kerr County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 7, page 415 of the
Bond Record of Kerr County, Texas, on March 19, 1979.
And it appearing to the Court that the Depository Bank desires to sell certain securities
and that the said Bank should properly be allowed to make a substitution of acceptable securi-
ties;
It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and
unanimously approved by the Court that the aforesaid request of the said Chas. Schreiner Bank
be granted and that the said County Depository Bank be authorized to sell the previously
pledged securities, as follows:

and to hold the same as custodian pursuant to the usual and customary terms applicable to the
existing depository pledge contract, and it is further ordered that the Clerk of the Court

as a member of the Kerr County Historical Survey Commission.

NO. 13808 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF EMMIE M. MUENKER, COUNTY CLERK, FOR RE-DEPUTATION OF
MELINDA AHRENS AS PART-TIME DEPUTY
On this the 10th day of September 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, second-
ed by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved the application of Emmie M. Muenker,
County Clerk, for authority to appoint and re-deputize Melinda Ahrens, as Deputy County Clerk,
on a part-time basis and that her salary be fixed on an hourly basis at $4.00 per hr., payable
out of Officers Salary Fund, effective the date of her qualification, the same being September
11th, 1979.

to re-advertise for bids for one Standard Type 1979 Four Door Sedan, without trade-in, for
use by the Kerr County Sheriff's Department.
Specifications are on Ģile at the office of the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas.
Bids to be received until 9:00 o'clock A. M., September 26th, 1979, at which time all
bids will be publicly opened and read.
Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
