2. Election precincts 2 and 8 are consolidated into a single precinct with the Center
Point American Legion Hall being designated as the polling place;
3. Election precincts 4, 9 and 10 are consolidated with the Sunset Baptist Church being
designated as the polling place;
4. Election precincts 5 and 6 are consolidated into a single precinct with the Ingram
Schoolhouse being designated as the polling place;
5. Election precincts 11 and 15 are consolidated into a single precinct with Tom Daniels
Elementary School being designated as the polling place;
6. Election precincts 13 and 16 are consolidated, with Starkey School being designated
as the polling place;
7. Election precincts 14 and 17 are consolidated, with Hill Country Lumber & Hardware

and it is further ordered that regularly appointed election officials for precincts 1, 2, 4,
6, 11, 14, 16 and 18 shall conduct the said election in the aforesaid consolidated election

This Agreement by and between the CITY OF KERRVILLE, Kerr County, Texas, hereinafter
called "City", acting pursuant to the resolution hereto attached, through its Mayor and
attested by its City Clerk, and the COUNTY OF KERR, hereinafter called "County" acting
through the Commissioners Court of such County, pursuant to the order of the said Commis-
sioners Court, a copy of which is hereto attached:
WITNESSETH:
The City agrees to furnish for the use and benefit of citizens of Kerr County, Texas,
outside the City Limits of the City of Kerrville, Texas, its fire trucks and other fire
fighting equipment, together with personnel to maintain and operate the same for a period
of twelve (12) months, beginning on the 1st day of October, 1979, and terminating on the 30th
day of September, 1980, under the following terms and conditions, to-wit:

~' 1. a. Structural Fire (Class 1)
"' In the event the City receives a call which involves,or may involve, a structure
(other than fences or pens) outside the City, the City shall respond to such call, unless
City has information that another fire department in the area is on the way to or presently
at the site of such fire. In the latter event, the City shall not be obligated to respond,
unless called for assistance by another fire department.
b. Grass Fire (Class 2)
The City shall not respond to a call or report of a fire that predominately involves
grass and other vegetation--unless a call for help is made by the fire department located in
the area of the fire. In the event the City receives a call of this type, the City shall
relay the call to the appropriate fire department in the County.
c. Auto Fire (Class 2)
d. Rescue (Class 2)
This will include auto wrecks or any other type of situation other than natural
disaster which shall require rescuing. (Examples: drowning, searches, fuel spills)

e. MAST Helicopter (Class 2)
MAST Helicopter shall be paid 50~ by the City and 50~ by the County.
f. Non Fire Emergencies (Class 2)
This shall include incidents such as smoke instigated responses (not actual fires),
malicious and accidental false alarms, and fire investigations, except that there shall be no
charge when the investigation is made as a courtesy to the Sheriff's Department, The Depart-
ment of Public Safety, or the Texas Rangers in their determination of arson and the causes
of fires.
2. City shall at the end of the calendar month furnish the County with a list of all
calls answered by fire fighting equipment to points in Kerr County outside of the corporate
limits of the City of Kerrville, Texas. As compensation, County shall pay:
a. All Class 1 fires ------------------- $480.00
b. All Class 2 fires ------------------- $300.00
"-' It is agreed that if the equipment is called back before crossing the City Limits,
then no compensation shall be payable, but once the City Limits is crossed, compensation is
payable.
3. This agreement shall remain in effect from year to year, but may be terminated as of
September 30, 1980, or any subsequent year by either party giving sixty (60) days notice
thereof.
4. The County of Kerr agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Kerrville for

any damages or injuries to any person, or the property of such person, who is not an employee,
agent, workman or fireman of the City of Kerrville, which damages or injury results from
answering or performing fire calls outside the City of Kerrville.
5. It is understood and agreed that should the City's fire Insurance Rate be jeopardized
in any manner, as a result of answering fire calls outside the City Limits, then the City
shall have the right to terminate this agreement upon immediate notice either written or oral
to the County.
6. The Parties understand and agree that the City's primary fire fighting responsibili-
ties are in the City and at the site of the greatest emergency; therefore, City reserves
the reasonable discretion to delay or fail to respond, or to pull away from any call--whether
in City or out--in order to respond adequately to an in-City report, or to other emergencies

authorized payment to Crenwelqe Chrysler in the amount of $7131.89, as per bid proposal,
payable out of the General Fund.

NO. 13832 APPROVAL OF REVISED PLAT OF BUMBLE BEE HILLS SECTION ONE
On this the 4th day of October 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved the Revised Plat of Bumble Bee Hills
Section One, subject to the provisions that actual maintenance of roadways will not be assumed
by Kerr County until residential development shall justify said maintenance.
