On this the 12th day of November 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, second-
ed by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that the resignations of Belinda
Sarkis, Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector and Linda McGlothin, Deputy Tax Assessor-Collector,
be ratified and confirmed, effective October 15, 1979.

NO. 13861 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR, DORIS LEE SMITH, FOR
APPOINTMENT OF MARGIE BAKER, AS DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-
COLLECTOR
On this the 12th day of November 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, second-
ed by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved the application of Tax Assessor-
Collector, Doris Lee Smith, for authority to appoint and deputize Margie Baker as Deputy
Tax Assessor-Collector of Kerr County, Texas, and that her salary be fixed at $6600.00 per
annum, effective the date of her qualification, the same being November 12th, 1979, payable
out of Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.

NO. 13862 TRANSFER OF $7,000.00 FROM GENERAL FUND TO JAIL OPERATING FUND
On this the 12th day of November 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon,
seconded by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and
County Treasurer be authorized to transfer the sum of $7,000.00 from the General Fund to
the Jail Operating Fund.

NO. 13863 APPORTIONMENT OF $18,000.00 FROM F. M. & LATERAL ROAD FUND
On this the 12th day of November 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon,
seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and
County Treasurer be authorized to apportion the sum of $18,000.00 from the F. M. & Lateral
Road Fund to the four Road and Bridge Precincts, as follows:
