Motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, and unanimously approved by the Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13896 ORDER ESTABLISHING PROCEDURE FOR COMPENSATION FOR SERVICES RENDERED TO SENIOR CITIZENS OF KERR COUNTY BY THE DIETERT CLAIM On this the 27th day of December, 1979, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of contractual reimbursement to the Dietert Clam, a non-profit corporation, for certain costs incurred incidental to the rendition of services to the senior citizens of Kerr County by the said volunteer organization; and it appearing to the Court that as a result of the services being provided by the Dietert Claim to our senior citizens, including nutrititional services, transportation services and recreation, and further that by serving as local recipient and administrator of Federally funded grants in support of these services, the said Dietert Claim is discharging a number of functions which might otherwise be the responsibility of the Commissioners' Court and the taxpayers of Kerr County and thereby is serving Kerr County in a quasi contractual relationship; and it further appearing to the Court that the Dietert Claim should properly be compensated and/or reimbursed for a portion of the costs incurred in so serving a needed public function, and that Kerr County has hereto- fore set aside in its budget for the calendar year 1980 the sum of $5,000.00 out of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds to be received by Kerr County during the year 1980 for contractual service for senior citizens; it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, and unanimously approved by the Court that effective January 1, 1980 Kerr County will pay the regular monthly electric, gas and water billings of the Dietert Claim, provided that such bills are submitted directly to the Kerr County Commissioners' Court, and that such bills shall be paid out of Kerr County's Revenue Sharing Trust Fund; and
