ONE On this the 31st day of December 1979, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved the Bond of Scott S. Parker, Justice of the Peace of Precinct No. One, effective the date of his qualification. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13903 CONSENT TO THE APPOINTMENT TO FILL A VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF ASSISTANT COUNTY ATTORNEY On this the 31st day of December, 1979, came on to be considered by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, the matter of consenting to the appointment to fill a vacancy in the office of Assistant County Attorney to serve at a rate of compensation to be set by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County, Texas, at the special instance and request of and for a period of time to be determined by County Attorney, James C. Nogues; and it appearing that a need exists to fill the vacancy in the office of Assistant County Attorney which will exist after December 31, 1979; and it appearing that the said James C. Nogues, County Attorney, has recommended the appointment of Gary E. Kersey to the office of Assistant County Attorney, effective January 1, 1980; and it further appearing that the said Gary E. Kersey is duly licensed and authorized to practice as an attorney and counselor at law in all the Courts of the State of Texas; and it further appearing that the County Attorney is authorized and empowered under the terms and provisions of Art. 331, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas, to make such an appointment with the consent of the Commissioners' Court; it is hereby ordered upon motion of Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, and unanimously approv- ed by the Court, that the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County grant its consent to the appoint- ment of Gary E. Kersey, to the office of Assistant County Attorney, effective January 1, 1980; the said Gary E. Kersey, to have the same powers and authority as the County Attorney and to serve at the will of the said County Attorney. This consent is subject, however, to the said Gary E.
