OFFER TO LDB CORPORATION FOR RIGHT OF WAy FOR STATE
HIGHWAY 16
On this the 24th day of January 1980 came on to be heard and
considered by the Court the matter of acquiring a parcel of land for the improve-
ment of a portion of State Highway 16 abutting original right of way parcel
#11 as acquired for the improvement of Sidney Baker Street, South, which
additional parcel now required has been designated by the State Department
of Highways and Public Transportation as Parcel No. 11A, and which is
owned by the LDB Corporation; and it appearing to the Court that as a
result of prior negotiations an agreed consideration for the conveyance of the
said Parcel No. 11A has been arrived at, it is ordered on motion by
Commissioner Lich seconded by Commissioner Guthrie
and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County offer to pay LAB
Corporation the sum of $17, 092.00 as compensation for land and damages for
the Corporation's conveyance to the State of Texas of the said parcel 6f iand
comprising 0.584 acres out of survey no. 145, Thos. L. Waddell, with payment
being made upon approval for filing and recordation by the State Department
of Highways and Public Transportation of the Corporation's properly executed
right of way deed together with a partial release of an outstanding lien by the
Chas. Schreiner Bank, which approval shall be conditioned on final title
a pproval; and it is further ordered that a voucher chall be drawn on the
Highway 16 Right of Way Fund in the amount of $1 7, 092. 00 payable to .LDB
Corporation and the Chas. Schreiner Bank, which voucher shall be delivered
upon final approval for filing and recordation by the State Department of
Highways and Public Transportation of the right of way deed and partial
release of lien as aforesaid.
