,~4~ 1 NO. 13907 APPROVAL OF COUNTY CLERK'S SEMI ANNUAL REPORT ON TRUST FUND AND FINES On this the 14th day of January 1980, came on to be considered by the Court the semi- annual report of all receipts and disbursements of the County Clerk's Trust Fund in the Chas. Schreiner Bank, Kerrville, Texas, of collections and deposits and disbursements by her in her hands for the period from July 1st, 1979 and ending December 31st, 1979 and held on deposit in the County Clerk's Trust Fund in the amount of $16,052.79. It appearing to the Court that said report is in due form and should be approved. Motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Garrett and unanimously approved by the Court. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13908 ORDER SETTING COUNTY AND PRECINCT OFFICIALS ON SALARY BASIS On this the 14th day of January 1980, at a Regular Term of the Commissioners' Court, with a quorum being present, there came on for consideration the matter of compensation of various County and Precinct Officials of Kerr County, Texas, for the year 1980, as provided for in Article 3912e, Section 6, R.C.S. of Texas. And it appearing to the Court that Kerr County has a population of less than 20,000 inhabitants, according to the last Federal Census and that the interests of the County would be best served if the County Officials and Precinct Officials of Kerr County be paid on a salary basis as provided by law, for the year 1980. Upon motion duly made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and un- animously approved by the Court, it is ordered that the County Officials and Precinct Officials of Kerr County be paid on a salary basis as provided by law, for the year 1980. It is further ordered by the Court that the Clerk of the Court prepare a certified copy of this order and send same to the Comptroller of Public Accounts in Austin, Texas. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13909 TRANSFER OF $48,850.00 TO SOCIAL SECURITY FUND On this the 14th day of January 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved that the County Clerk and County Treasurer be, and are hereby directed to transfer the following amounts to the Social Security Fund from their respective funds: Jury Fund 850.00 Road & Bridge Fund 11500.00 General Fund 6500.00 Officers Salary Fund 30000.00 Total $48850.00 o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13910 ORDER SETTING PAY OF GRAND JURORS, PETIT JURORS AND SPECIAL VENIREMEN IN DISTRICT COURT AND OF JURORS IN COUNTY COURT On this the 14th day of January 1980, came on to be heard and considered by the Court, the matter of fixing the compensation of Grand Jurors, Petit Jurors and Special Veniremen in the District Court of Kerr County and of Jurors in the County Court of Kerr County, as is required to be done annually by Article 2122, Vernon Civil Statutes, Article 1056 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and after due consideration, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, and unanimously approved by the Court, that the compensation to be paid to all Grand Jurors and Petit Jurors and Special Veniremen shall be ~~~35 fixed at $7.50 per day, including those summoned but excused, after having been sworn, pro- vided however, that County and Justice of the Peace and District Court Jurors and Grand Jurors actually impaneled and sworn, shall be paid $10.00 per day. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13911 COURTHOUSE HOLIDAYS FOR 1980 On this the 14th day of January 1980, came on to be considered by the Court the day and dates to be fixed by the Court as legal Holidays for the year 1980, also that the Courthouse shall be closed on those days and the Court is of the opinion that the following days and dates are and shall be declared as legal Holidays for the County: February 18 (Monday) Washington's Birthday Good Friday May 26 (Monday) July 4 (Friday) September 1 (Monday) November 11 (Tuesday) November 27, 28 (Thursday, Friday) December 24, 25, 26 (Wed., Thurs, Fri.) NO. 4 On this the 14th day of January 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, it was unanimously approved by the Court that the County Judge be authorized to advertise for bids for one new Four Wheel Drive Articulated Loader, for use by the Commissioner of Kerr County Precinct No. 4. Bid price shall include delivery FOB job site in Commissioner's Precinct No. 4, Kerr County. Bids to be received until 10:00 o'clock A. M., February 11th, 1980, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read. Bids must be for equipment which complies with specifications on file in the office of the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas. Kerr County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
