Notice to be published in the official Newspaper of Kerr County, Texas January 16th and January 19th, 1980. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13915 ORDER ESTABLISHING FISCAL PROCEDURES FOR ADMINISTERING FUNDING GRANT FOR ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY OF 216TH JBDICIAL DISTRICT On this the 14th day of January, 1980, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of establishing fiscal procedures incident to the administration of a funding grant for the position of Assistant District Attorney for the 216th Judicial District; and it appear- ing to the Court the Criminal Justice Division of the Governor's Office has approved a grant of funds in the amount of $19,533.00 as previously requested by District Attorney Joe Grady Tuck of the 216th Judicial District and as approved by the several counties of the Judicial District, which grant is for a one year period commencing with a retroactive date of October 1, 1979; and it further appearing to the Court that the funds so granted are required to be disbursed through the County Treasurer of Kerr County under the supervision of the Kerr County Auditor as project fiscal officer; and it further appearing to the Court that District Attorney Joe Grady Tuck has heretofore appointed Jack Collins as Assistant District Attorney to be compensated under the provisions of the aforesaid grant at the rate of $18,405.00 per annum in twelve monthly payments commencing with the month of October, 1979, and that funds are beinq transmitted into the County Treasury of Kerr County for this purpose; it is ordered on ~ motion by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded by Commissioner Garrett, and unanimously approved by the Court that the compensation to be paid Assistant District Attorney Jack Collins be fixed at $18,405.00 per annum for a period of one year only commencing retroactive to October 1, 1979, payable on a monthly basis; and it is further ordered that funds received by the County Treasurer of Kerr County from the Treasury of the State of Texas be deposited in a separate bank account in the County Depository to be designated as "216th District Assistant District Attorney Grant Fund"; and that the said Jack Collins be paid compensation due and owing him for the months of October, November, and December, 1979 upon receipt of funds for this purpose and that he thereafter be paid on a monthly basis for this purpose for the duration of the grant period; and it is further ordered that the employee's FICA contribution be deducted from compensation so paid and that the same, together with the employer's contribu- tion, be paid over out of said grant funds into the Kerr County Social Security Fund as they accrue.
