SPEAKMON Commissioner Precinct Ido. 2 VICTOR LICH Commissioner Precinct No. 3 BILLY JOE GUTHRIE, JR., Commissioner Precinct No. 4 and the Court having duly opened, the following proceedings were had: NO. 13924 ORDER A44ENDING ORDER NO. 13721 FIXING COMPENSATION FOR DISPATCHERS EMPLOYED AT KERR COUNTY JAIL On this the 24th day of January, 1980 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the matter of amending Order No. 13721 entered June 13, 1479 fixing the rate of compensation for jailer-dispatchers employed at the Kerr County Jail; and it appearing that such amendment is necessitated by the intent of the Court to increase the rate of compensation for Kerr County employees effective January 1, 1980, and consistent with the request of Sheriff Paul Fields, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Garrett, seconded by Commissioner Lich, and unanimously approved by the Court that effective January 1, 1980, compensation for the Chief Dispatcher at the Kerr County Jail shall be fixed at the rate of $690.00 per month; and that the rate of compensation for beginning dispatchers be fixed at $640.00 per month and, °0" upon attainment of 90 days experience, or sooner at the discretion of the Sheriff, the rate X"`~ of compensation shall become $665.00 per month, pending further orders of the Court; and that payments shall be made monthly upon certification by the Sheriff to the County Treasurer and the County Auditor of the names of the persons employed, and that said monthly payments be made from the Jail Operating Fund as heretofore. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13925 ORDER AUTHORIZING COUNTY DEPOSITORY TO MAKE SUBSTITUTION OF SECURITIES PLEDGED TO SECURE DEPOSITORY PLEDGE CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZIIG FROST NATIONAL BANK TO RELEASE PREVIOUSLY PLEDGED SECURITIES On this the 24 day of January, 19II0, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the letter request of Chas. Schreiner Bank, the County Depository of Kerr County, to make a substitution of securities pledged to secure that certain Depository Pledge Contract entered _ into between the said Bank and Kerr County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 7, page 415 of the Bond Record of Kerr County, Texas, on 3/19/79. And it appearing to the Court that the Depository Bank desires to sell certain securities and that the said Bank should progerly be allowed to make a substitution of acceptable securities; It is ordered on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Speakmon, and unanimously approved by the Court that the aforesaid request of the said Chas. Schreiner Bank ~'" be granted and that the said County Depository Bank be authorized to sell the previously ~,. , pledged securities, as follows: Houston Combined Fee Revenue Bond, $50,000.00 par, rate 8.75 due August 1, 1982 and to substitute therefor the following: Victoria County, Texas, G. O. $50,000.00 par, rate 4.70, due March 15, 1986. It is further ordered that the Frost National Sank of San Antonio, Texas, the custodian of the aforesaid previously pledged securities, be and is hereby authorized to release same to the said Chas. Schreiner Bank upon receipt of the substitute securities described above, and to hold the same as custodian pursuant to the usual and customary terms applicable to the existing depository pledge contract, and it is further ordered that the Clerk of the Court provide certified copies of this Order to each Bank concerned.
