' NO. 13926 APPROVAL OF CLAIM OF CITY OF KERRVILLE FOR LIBRARY EXPENSES
On this the 24th day of January 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, seconded
by Commissioner Guthrie, the Court unanimously approved payment to the City of Kerrville for
library expenses for November 1979, the County's one-half being $6,015.57. It is ordered
by the Court that the Treasurer and Auditor be authorized to draw a voucher on the Kerr
County Public Library Fund, payable to the City of Kerrville for the above amount.

On this the 24th day of January 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded

Densford, Deputy District Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effective

On this the 24th day of January 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Garrett, seconded
by Commissioner Lich, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Donna Witt,
Deputy County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, effective January 31,
1930.

NO. 13929 APPROVAL OF APPLICATION OF DISTRICT CLERK, MARY BROOKS, FOR APPOINTMENT OF
DONNA WITT AS DEPUTY DISTRICT CLERK
On this the 24th day of January 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Speakmon, second-
ed by Commissioner Garrett, the Court unanimously approved the application of Mary Brooks,
District Clerk, for authority to appoint and deputize ------ Donna Y7itt as Deputy District
Clerk and that her salary be fixed at $8790.00 per annum, effective the date of her qualifica-
tion, and that her salary be paid out of Officers Salary Fund.

On this the 24th day of January 1980, upon motion made by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded
by Commissioner Speakmon, the Court unanimously approved that the resignation of Rubye Neeck,
Deputy Sheriff of Kerr County, Texas, be ratified and confirmed, with regret, effective
January 31, 1980.

NO. 13931 OFFER TO LDB CORPORATION FOR RIGHT OF WAY FOR STATE HIGHWAY 16
On this the 24th day of January 1980 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the
matter of acquiring a parcel of land for the improvement oŁ a portion of State Highway 16
abutting original right of way parcel #11 as acquired for the improvement of Sidney Baker
Street, South, which additional parcel now required has been designated by the State Depart-
ment of Highways and Public Transportation as Parcel No. 11A, and which is owned by the LDB
Corporation; and it appearing to the Court that as a result of prior negotiations an agreed
consideration for the conveyance of the said Parcel No. 11A has been arrived at, it is order-
ed on motion by Commissioner Lich, seconded by Commissioner Guthrie, and unanimously approved
by the Court that Kerr County offer to pay LDB Corporation the sum of $17,092.00 as compensa-
tion for land and damages for the Corporation's conveyance to the State of Texas of the said
parcel of land comprising 0.584 acres out oŁ Survey No. 145, Thos. L. Waddell, with payment
being made upon approval for filing and recordation by the State Department oŁ Highways and
Public Transportation of the Corporation's properly executed right of way deed together with
