Said bids comply with specifications on file in the office of the County Clerk of Kerr County, Texas. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13944 ORDER GRANTING PERMISSION TO THE ICERR COUNTY LIVESTOCK SHOL9S ASSOCIATION, INCORPORATED, TO CONSTRUCT AN ADDITION TO THE KERR COUNTY LIVESTOCK EXHIBITION BUILDING On this the 11th day of February, 1980 came on to be heard and considered by the Court the request of representatives of The Kerr County Livestock Shows Association, Incorporated, for permission for the Association to construct additional building space to be a portion of the existing Kerr County Livestock Exhibition Building; and it appearing to the Court the Association's Hill Country District Livestock Show and sale which is sponsored annually for the benefit of the youth of a 15 county area is overtaxing the existing building facilities owned by Kerr County and that the public interest would be served by providing expanded and improved facilities for the annual District and County Livestock shows as well as other related public usages, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Guthrie, seconded by Commis- sioner Speakmon, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby authorize The Kerr County Livestock Shows Association, Incorporated, a non-profit organization, to construct additional building space on property owned by Kerr County, which building space hall be in the form of an addition to the existing Kerr County Livestock Exhibition Building, )!~J subject to the following conditions: 1. No construction shall be undertaken by the Association without final approval of construction plans and specifications given by the Commissioners' Court of Kerr County with a copy of same being filed with the Court; 2. The Association shall be liable for the payment in full of all claims and accounts due and owing for materials and labor furnished either by building contractor or sub-contractor. 3. On this the 11th day of February, 1980, came on to be heard and considered by the Court the proposal of the Employment and Training Division of the Community Council of South Central Texas, Inc. of New Braunfels, Texas, to place a CETA-funded temporary employee in the office of the County Extension Agents in the Kerr County Courthouse to serve as a clerical assistant in such office; and it appearing to the Court that the said proposed placement imposes no financial or administrative responsibilities on Kerr County and that said employee will be paid with CETA funds administered directly through the Community Council of South Central Texas, Inc. of New Braunfels, Texas, it is ordered on motion by Commissioner Speakmon, second- ed by Commissioner Garrett, and unanimously approved by the Court that Kerr County hereby grants permission for the placement of the said CETA employee in the office of the County Extension Agents in the Kerr County Courthouse on a temporary basis of approximately one year; provided, however that Kerr County reserves the right to withdraw and terminate such authoriza- tion at its discretion at any time and provided further that Kerr County in no way commits itself nor does it propose to commit itself to continue the said CETA employee as an employee of Kerr County upon the termination of existing CETA funding for this position. o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o NO. 13947 APPROVAL OF COUNTY TREASURER'S REPORT FOR QUARTER ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1979 On this the 11th day of February 1980, in Regular Session of Commissioners' Court, came on for examination the Quarterly Report of Dorothy Smith, County Treasurer of Kerr County, Texas, for the period beginning October 1, 1979 and ending December 31, 1979, and the same having been examined and compared by the Court and found correct. And it appearing to the Court that during the said time the Treasurer has received for account and credit and paid out of each of said funds as reflected in the report and become a part hereof; and that said accounts received and paid out of the respective funds, since the filing of the preceding report and during the period above stated, are found correct as therein shown.
